The coolest, hardest, best 'I did it' experience!
This is the best adventure we've done in awhile! Erick and Jaime were AWESOME. I work out relatively often (5-6 days a week), but the altitude kicked my butt on the way up. Erick was truly incredible--reassured me every step of the way, made sure we didn't get lost, and we got up there in the 4-5 hour window that had been estimated. An hour later, it was Fuego time! Fuego involves going down into the valley and then climbing back up to the volcano ridge--WORTH IT, but that end was HARD! None of this is on the team or the experience--it was exceptional. But when I read 'negative' reviews, it feels like people aren't prepared for the experience...that's not on Experience or the guides! 10/10 recommend this company--I have a unique food allergy and they adapted all of my meals to make it work. Can't thank them enough!

Reliable and efficient transfer
Our driver was so friendly, and was very easy to find when we arrived at the airport as the instructions were very clear. The roads were blocked due to Semana Santa, but thankfully he got us as close as he could to our hostel. Couldnt have had a better experience!

Awesome experience
Amazing experience. It’s a steep climb, prepare mentally and physically, but not impossible. Our guides Luis and Javier were fantastic. They made sure we made it up in good timing while being mindful of rest. Don’t be afraid to take a break when you need at stops. Try to pack lightly if not you can rent gear or a porter. It gets colder at night but not insane cold, some good layering should do the trick. The meals were just what we needed to have energy but bring extra snacks and electrolytes. Yes you can buy more on the way. Base camp is real camping style nothing fancy don’t expect luxury. I had a great time Luis and Javier made sure everyone was comfortable and fed at night including a campfire. I recommend for adventurist this group just be prepared for a challenging but not the worst 24 hours. The views at night base camp are incredible. I don’t recommend the optional hike to fuego but you can do it if weather is nice and you really feel like it. The summit hike in the morning is cooler but tougher especially that early. All in all great experience just temper expectations.

Guatemalan food cooking class
Amazing experience. It’s a fun, interactive class where you cook a delicious 3 course meal and it includes wine. I definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to Antigua and any place nearby. You learn about the plates and get hands on in the process
