The tour was great! They company was very helpful and accommodating when our uber got messed up on the way to the pick up spot. The activities were well spaced out and fun. Food was very good and the scenery was beautiful. Our guide Fernando made the whole day a 12/10 experience! He was very engaging the whole day and gave us information on all of the sights and stops we visited. I cannot wait to come back to Costa Rica

The tour guide, Alex, is excellent. The lunch was fabulous as was the snack. The dinner was almost inedible. The pork especially wasn’t able to be cut or chewed. Paradise Hot Springs was wonderful. The time visiting and listening to tribal members speak was very brief and we were not given time to purchase items but rushed along to go to the Hot Springs. Perhaps because we were going to those instead of doing the zip line. It is a very, very long day and gets cool in the evening, bring a jacket for night.

We could not have asked for a better tour! Adriana was kind, knowledgeable and fun to have along for the ride. This experience had everything we were looking for in our short visit, and more! The Zipline was a challenge (be prepared for an arm workout!), but the hot springs were sooo relaxing to follow up. I was a little bummed that rain and clouds obstructed our view of the volcano peak, but what can you do? I enjoyed the time in the van, being able to look out and enjoy the eye level view. They kept us well fed throughout the day, but my favorite thing to try was the cas juice at the waterfall lookout.

This is a great experience to see wildlife! Our guide was truly amazing! This is a very long excursion with many hours in the car. Great for someone that is not visiting La Fortuna separately, a extra day on a business trip to San Jose, people that do not want to drive, and older individuals as it is pretty accessible. If you are going to La Fortuna on your own, we would recommend skipping this experience.

Obi was a fantastic tour guide. We loved all the fun facts and engagement. He was very good at reading our group to keep us moving along in a way that wasn’t rushed. When he ask my friends and I what we were most looking forward to and we said zip lines and seeing wildlife, Obi then made it a mission to stop the car and allow the whole van to see the incredible wildlife as he spotted it from the front window! His knowledge about Costa Rica as a whole plus the area really made the trip for us. Also, zip lining was some of the best I’ve done, the crew was so fun.

Super long day as the title says, but well worth it. We were picked up at our hotel on time by our driver Victor (awesome guy) and our tour guide (I am most likely mis-spelling her name so sorry) Oxani was great! She was very informative and knowledgeable about things and we learned a lot. I was in a group of 12 total people. Very fun experience and our driver Victor somehow spotted a sloth hanging on a tree while driving. He pulled over and let us observe the sloth. Very long day yes, but I do think it something to experience. We did not see the volcano due to the clouds but still a good time.

While the activity checked off the boxes like seeing a waterfall, iguanas, zip-lining, hot springs, etc the overall experience from having a guide fell significantly short. For starters we were cramped into the back seats of a van. The rear two seats my wife and daughter had to sit was essentially 1 seat next to luggage to some people had brought in. The guide (Jorge) spoke limited English unlike other Costa Rican guides. His voice from the front was not audible for those in the rear. He kept speaking more in Spanish for the Portuguese couple upfront vs most of the audience who were English speaking. He did very little explaining during the tour. When we got to the Cocoa Plantation, he did a little explaining while his colleagues from the same company handling a parallel tour took people really into the plantation field. The food provided was average at best. They keep saying buffet but you get 1 serving with 1 choice of protein. A buffet is where you go serve and eat as much or little as you want for a fixed price. At least that is how a buffet is understood in most parts of the world. Overall we didn’t need a guide. Pretty disappointing.

This was so scary but I did it! It was incredible memories with my youngest daughter. After the first one I wanted to turn around and go back lol but the whole crew and even the other tourists were so encouraging and never made me feel less than supported. I am glad I did it but whew! Lol

We had an amazing time led by our guide Ovy. It was a long drive overall but we couldn’t even feel it due to the multiple rest stops making it easy and enjoyable. Ovy was very attentive and helpful and gave us many photo opportunities at the rest stops. There’s also plenty of opportunities to buy souvenirs and see animals!

This is our second time doing this exact tour, and the experience was just as exceptional if not more. Alex was our guide for the day and I cannot convey enough the care he put into our day trip. He went above and beyond in every part of the day. The weather for most of the day was rainy, however he still managed to spot a couple of Sloths in the wild for us to see, making sure my 12 year old son was able to see them. Alex was kind, patient and knowledgeable, making our day of zip lining, waterfalls, and thermal hot springs an unforgettable experience.

This is a fun filled day with lots of stops but great sights to see along the way. Chris and Steven were great tour guides. The food and all the stops were great! The only thing I would say was kind of not amazing was the zip line crew, some were great and others seemed annoyed to have to help you. Otherwise, everything was amazing, just be prepared for the very long ride back!

Picked up from hotel at the time promised. Did everything on the schedule. Got a little treat for breakfast- could also buy other snacks at several places on the route in the morning. Given coffee at one but can also buy it if you need it sooner at the coffee farm. Saw two amazing waterfalls. Bring a jacket- it’s misty and rainy at any given second and then 90 and humid. Made several quick stops to see wildlife along the way! Sloths, iguanas, hummingbirds. Lunch and dinner had plenty of options and even picky/ vegetarian eaters found something. Tell them if you don’t eat mushrooms or plantains though as they like to put those in veggie options. Water would be my one suggestions for restaurants to give. Other tips- bring a bag for your camera (like the water proof ones) if you want to take it on the zip line. They won’t let you take it otherwise. They do take pics but it’s $15-18 per person. Also- bring water shoes or shoes you don’t mind getting wet for rappelling after the zip line. You end up in the river and shoes get soaked. We didn’t know this. You don’t need a towel as the website says- the hot springs provides this for you. They also have lockers for you to store things for free and hairdryers for after you are all wet to dry before dinner. Get ready for a long ride back- time bathroom breaks accordingly. Left at 6am and got back around 9:30… yes it’s a long day but they really pack a ton in and once you see the crazy roads and traffic, I’m glad I didn’t choose to drive it! Harlem and Luis were great tour guides- Harlem really explained everything in both English and Spanish well.

This was a VERY full day but a wonderful time. Kenneth was really the best guide+driver ever - he immediately engaged with the group and had us all talking and laughing together. We stopped for snacks and lovely views. He was always ready to chat and answer questions. He helped us spot 2 sloths!
Only thing to know is that you don't actually get up to the top of the volcano on this trip - you're literally ON the volcano when you go ziplining and the hot springs, but you never get super up close. If that is your goal, you'll have to pick a different experience.
But if you can get Kenneth...just take this tour anyway! :D

This was an absolutely great tour. Our tour guide (Kenneth) was awesome and a wealth of knowledge. Zip lining through the rainforest canopy was both thrilling and amazing. Go Adventures who was responsible for the zip line adventure ensured that we were oriented and trained before being connected to the line. It was evident that safety was their top priority. We never felt unsure during the entire adventure.
The food was very tasty and the hot springs were very relaxing. The day is long but it is a must-do tour and worth every penny. Thank You again Kenneth.

Harlayan and Victor were fantastic. I forgot my phone in the van and They brought it to where I was staying there next morning. I can not praise them enough.

This was a great experience. Definitely recommend the zip lining and hot springs. Our guide Stephen was friendly and answered any questions we had. He was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!
