Diego and Carlos were fantastic, they took their time and made sure that we learned about the culture, nature, indigenous tribes, and local history throughout the tour. Thats in addition to swimming in a breathtaking waterfall, learning about the Arenal volcano, and relaxing in the hot springs. Was definitely a full day of entertainment and fun, zero rush and took time for extra stops for sloth and macaw sightings. Awesome!

Highlight of our Trip

Our guides were excellent and made the day so enjoyable, Even used my phone to cature some excellent photos of me in mid rappel, and didn't expect any finnacial gain for doing it. Everything about the day felt safe. The Lunch provided at the end was almost worth the price of the ticket, such delicious home cooked authentic Costa Rican food. I would highly recommend the ABC canyoning company to anyone in the La Fotuna area. If you are thinking about it......Do it! you will not be disappointed.

Lots of sloths!

We saw so many sloths! It was great -we never would have seen them without our guide! We also saw a parrots nest, an owl and bullet ants! The coffee, sugar cane and chocolate tour was good, very informative, we picked up more facts than we even realized! Our guide heard a toucan calling and we went out to find him in the trees singing his heart out!! Very cool!

Excellent adventure!

This was a wonderful adventure with many different things to see and experience. Our guide, Sergio, was excellent and had such a good eye for spotting wildlife. It was a fairly strenuous day and a few of the hanging bridges made us nervous, but if you are up for it we had an awesome overall experience!

The views were breathtaking, like in a movie

This was a great tour to go on to see a lot of different animals in one place. Definitely do the tour with a guide. I saw a lot of people doing the walk solo and they did not know what they were looking for and the animals are very well hidden. The gift shop is great a lot of cute stuff to pick up there.

Nice ride to enjoy the sights.

The pathways take you through the forest, but because it has been traveled many times, they can be very bumpy but this adds to the fun. Because you follow your guide and other riders that may be inexperienced the pace is slower, so if you are looking to go fast this might not be what you are looking for. For us we were enjoying the sights and the slower pace allows you to take that in and enjoy.

A dark rainy night in the jungle is AMAZING!

I can not begin to tell you how fun this was! It was a dark, rainy night in the jungle… seriously, it was. We saw a snake in a tree, frogs doing adult frog things, see through frogs, colorful frogs, POISONOUS dart frogs, a giant walking stick (this thing was bigger than your head and an arm!!), and MOOOORE! This was an outstanding tour! It was so much fun. Definitely recommend and would do again! On a rainy night…

Amazing! If you have KIDS read it fully:) I loved this experience and the guides are always checking on you, and always ready to help. They are full of positive energy and always ready to share with you whatever they know. The route is great, on same areas of the road the driving speed is a bit high ( around 35-38), but not all the time; and we added extra time for an additional route, so worth it!! And cool to see volcano closer. Amazing! I feel like I will do the same trip next time I am in Costa Rica!! My whole family loved it. If you have KIDS, and they are on the younger side, I think its better if they sit in front of you. My son (7 years old) almost fell down, when my husband was going uphill, but he grabbed him. Daughter (9) did totally fine and she could hold herself on the side rails. Both of my kids loved it, just make sure they are strong enough to hold on the rails, when they sit behind you, as some parts of the road (especially one- it is pretty uphill). Thank you! Great experience. And really recommend it!

A+ Experience! When I asked my daughter (age 7) her favorite thing about the trip, she replied canyoning! The guides were fantastic--friendly, safe, and responsive. This was my third time canyoning and it lived up to the excitement. Be prepared for tight jumps, fast zip lining & long repels. Would recommend to anyone seeking a thrill!

Review of 7 zip line tour

We did the 7 zip line tour and it was perfect. Not to much. Just the right amount of fun. There was a nice little hike through the jungle in the middle which we really enjoyed. The drive up to the zip line pads was really sweet. The zip line instructors you could tell, really loved their jobs. It was a great time and I would recommend the zip lines as a must if you like adventure and you find yourself headed to La Fortuna. The view of the waterfall is like nothing I’ve experienced elsewhere.
