A truly off-the-beaten-path experience, as you are on your own to navigate a steep decline and dense jungle to the waterfall. The map and signage are misleading, and do expect the descent to be a bit more than the suggested 900 meters. Do the waterfall before the pool, which will be a refreshing reward for your efforts. We’d recommend the site at least consider transport to the trailhead, as well as back again.

sobre el sendero a de los 900 metros la personas piensa que mas cuando vienen de regreso pero son 900 metros
Debes tener en cuenta que hacer una caminata entre montaña tiene sus cosas.
Recuerda hacer una caminata en montaña no es como caminar en un parque sabes que tienes que hacer un esfuerzo extra.

There was NO GUIDE. The hike was intermediate level if you stay on the wide trail and advance if you get off of the path to seek the Waterfall. I don't recommend anyone that isn't physically fit to try this. (Especially if there is no guide, no phone, no assistance).

Hello, at the reception you were given all the information about the tour and a map of the route.At all times he was told that it was a mountain tour and the information about the hike explains that it does not include a guide.
Inside the park there are guides that you can go to.

Fantastic experience. We went at 0800 and we were alone all morning on the trail and the pools. But this is not for someone who isn’t fit. People with knee, back, or heart issues would have trouble. For us, one of the highlights of our CR trip.

We have the best time hiking to the waterfall. It was breathtaking! We saw frogs 🐸, Macaws 🦜, and even a snake. 🐍 . They had the most majestic butterfly 🦋. It’s like they had Reflectors.
