- Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard) Required for ATV Deposit Important Information: To secure your ATV reservation, a credit card (Visa or Mastercard) is necessary for the deposit. We will hold a minimum of $1,000 on your card for 1 to 5 vehicles; this amount is fully refundable. Alternatively, you have the option to purchase insurance coverage for $25 per ATV (non-refundable). For buggies / side-by-sides, the insurance fee is $100 per vehicle.

William and his assistant were very friendly, funny and helpful
I would highly recommend this site. William explained everything and they took good care of everyone in their part.

This tour would have been good if they had fully provided what we paid for. The tour advertised that we would go on a 2-hour ATV waterfall and “lookout points”. At the location and in this activities reviews you can SEE the lookout points that our group was supposed to go to. They did not take us there nor did we ride ATVs for two hours as advertised. We checked in around 245-250 for our 3PM tour. By 315-320, we were getting ready to head out. The guides only took us to the water fall and back. We were back within an hour and 15 minutes - & I believe that is me being generous. They did not take us to any of the advertised lookout spots, just the waterfall. When I inquired to staff as the reason why, they initially told us that it’s up the guides discretion. Afterwards, they told us it’s because our group is too large and would take time / be dangerous. They did not provide any information before the ATV tour regarding this for us to make an informed decision on whether to continue with the tour. We had be at the park since AM and were waiting for the ATV after one pm. They had ample time to inform us or give us the opportunity to start our tour earlier. They also told us the reason why our tour wasn’t two hours was because the two hours also includes “checking in” and getting ready to go. For a large group of 13, that’s little unfair. If they cannot accommodate large groups to experience what they paid for fully - they should limit booking numbers. I also believe it’s because the park was closing and they wanted to hurry and close - if that’s the case they should take groups after a certain time so that we can get the full experience. I am also posting this review because viator refused to mediate further and the agent told me they were “sending an email” to the company when I already told them that the company told me on site they would do anything even though they did not provide all that we paid for. I was baffled when the agent was arguing with me on the phone saying that I was wrong because the they only list one thing in the itinerary- however, if you read the DESCRIPTION of the one itinerary - it’s says waterfall and lookout spots - and I have photo proof that we did not go to these lookout spots as well as the staff stating a reason as to why we didn’t AFTER the tour.
Please beware of booking in the afternoon to avoid getting your tour shortened. Morning would be the best time for this tour to likely get the full experience.

It is important to clarify that route decisions depend on the driving abilities and overall safety of the group, which is why certain lookout points may not be included if conditions are not suitable.
Regarding timing, afternoon tours operate under fixed schedules due to daylight and safety conditions in the mountain, which may limit the duration of certain stops.

What can I say? This was best ATV experience ever. Multilevel terrain that went on forever. So much land to ride on. Couldn’t believe how vast the trails were. They hills, rocks, slopes, water. Our guide William so cool and fun and down to earth. Made the experience so much more fun. A must do!!!! 10/10

Fantastic experience! We felt safe and had loads of fun. We enjoyed the scenic views while driving around the park. There was some time for practice and to get comfortable with the ATVs. We stopped midway for a waterfall break, which was very refreshing. It wasn't as muddy as we thought, but we recommend wearing water shoes (or close-toed shoes) during the tour. There was a photographer who took great pics, and you had the option to buy the pictures afterward if you wanted. At the end, we got a cup of watermelon and pineapples too! No need to bring water bottle because there was plenty of free water too.

A very fun experience! Heavy rain started before our reservation time but we were compensated with a different time slot no problems. Jason was an amazing tour guide and knowledgeable on the trails and wildlife in the area. Safety was the #1 thing here and my group felt safe the whole tour while having fun with the ATV. I would highly recommend this experience! PURA VIDA!!

We did the 2 hr trip and perfect amount of time. Marie our guide was awesome. We did the practice track first and my wife was a bit unsure so ended up with the double seater. My 18 year and 16 year old loved there own atvs (need driving or learner license). The trip to the water fall was great fun and the 15 mins dip at the waterfall was ideal. It can be a bit dusty so take sunglasses to protect eyes.

Our tour guide. Julio was amazing! Fun time. Scenic route. It does get a little muddy so be prepared. Avoid water shoes! There are lots of rocks to walk on.

We had a great time on our ATV tour. Alejandro was a GREAT guide and lovely to chat with. It was a really pleasant and fun experience. The ATVs were easy to operate. Transportation to a from the location was on time and reliable. The route was often shaded so it was comfortable even in the extreme heat. I loved getting to see the White Zebu cattle. All around wonderful experience :)

Great time! Wish there was opportunity to ride faster but we had a big group so not a big deal.
The falls in the middle was smaller than expected but guides gave us ample time to see and swim in it.

They didn’t put on the description before buying the tickets that pregnant women and kids below 4 years are no allow to do the activity. And when I got there they told me this and only return partial refund even though it was their fault that didn’t let me know about it. I lost 80$ and a 2 hour trip from San Jose. Awful service

Thanks very much for taking the time to review our park, we are very disappointed that you would give us 1 star review when on the description clearly says NO PREGNANT WOMMEN ALLOWED ON THE TOUR, you did not read the information and when you got here we offered you the chocolate tour that is allowed for pregnant women, so you could at least enjoy this tour since you made the drive and all you wanted was a refund, we recommend reading the description and restrictions of the tours you book.

My husband and I had a great experience riding the ATV’s and swimming in the natural springs. The hosts were great and very helpful with questions, taking pictures or concerns we experienced along the trail (stuck in mud). The trail has Amazing views, and is a fun muddy experience! We would for sure book again.

We had a wonderful experience at Adventure Tours in Los Suenos. We did the 3 hour ATV tour to the waterfalls and private beach. Chris was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and made sure that we had a wonderful experience. He explained the different sites and the general background of each. He also took many photos and answered the any questions we had. We will be sure to visit again when we return and ask for Chris.

Guide was great (Frank)! It was absolutely beautiful and so much fun!!! Loved that we got to see the countryside and the jungle. Waterfall stop for swimming was so refreshing.

Very fun, very muddy, super awesome!! I had a blast doing my first ATV tour in Costa Rica! Couldn’t have asked for a better first time. The water fall was beautiful and the sun was shining bright! Bring water shoes and a change of clothing or wear a bathing suit. Great time

Todo fue excelente excepto por una sola cosa el tours decía que empezaba a las 10:00am acabándose a las 12:00pm con una duración de dos horas y empezamos a las 10:36am y de igual manera el tours acabó a las 12:00 o sea se perdió 36 minutos de tours en espera, pero sacando esto a un lado todo fue excelente el personal que nos guió muy profesional y muy amable, todo muy limpio y muy serviciales que para nosotros fue lo que amamos. Muchas gracias 🙏!
