Historical beauty and modern insights—great for a cruise excursion, too!

This was a great way to get a taste of Cartagena while stopped there on a cruise! We loved having an excellent balance of historical information and modern insights. Álvaro made us feel completely welcome right from the start and in each environment along the way, guiding us smoothly through the experience as he shared his wealth of knowledge and answered each question we had thoughtfully. He clearly loves and takes pride in his work! Our driver Marcos amazingly seemed to make traffic disappear, too! Though our time in port was fairly short, this tour gave us a rich experience that made the most of it. We even got to see sloths and monkeys, as a bonus!

Best experience in all of Cartagena!!

You are genuinely missing out if you don’t do the VIP tour with Ana and Edwin! It was such a fun ride all day long, with excellent stops at every point along the way. Beautiful scenery, awesome snorkeling, and what can only be described as a roller-coaster on steroids on the way back. I was so close to listening to some of the negative reviews when booking, but I’m so glad I didn’t. Those people are just whiners. Trust the overall ratings. Book this ASAP!!

We had a fantastic time with Dario. He was knowledgeable and personable. We learned a lot about the history of Cartagena and all the sites we saw. He worked smoothly with his driver so we never had to wait more than a few minutes to be picked up. Great day over all - highly recommend!

Great Time!!

This tour was honestly so much fun. I went with my best friend on a bros trip and we had a great time from start to finish. The island they took us to was beautiful, and the whole off‑road trail was exactly what we wanted, bumpy, fast, dusty, all of it. I’d definitely recommend bringing sunscreen and glasses because depending on how fast you go, the dirt and wind hit you pretty hard. But honestly, that just made it even more fun for us! Our tour guide was amazing and made us feel like family the whole time. He helped us with everything and made sure we were good the entire ride. We loved every part of it, such a great experience!

Wonderful High-Speed Boat!

The boat ride (sitting in the front three rows) was a wonderful water rollercoaster experience. Empty your bladder before boarding is a good idea. Prepare $20 for port fee. The fried fish toward the end of tour (2pm) was nice. (Make sure that you have a good breakfast so that you can last until 2pm.) Bring your own water.

This was a once in a lifetime experience for sure. The rain fall made it difficult to climb and bystanders were slipping and falling. But it was a unique experience. Our guide explained very thoroughly how the tipping works and how the native people live off this. They ask for tip for everything it’s a overwhelming but understandable. Just be ready with cash.

Nice Catamaran, great staff! Good food and drinks. Sailing and stops were good. Snorkeling was Ok as there is limited coral and fish life. Swimming stop was nice though. This is NOT a party boat which is great of younare looking for a scenic, peaceful and family / friendly sail trip.

Just Do It

Lots of fun. Eddie was wonderful! Great course, can be somewhat challenging for new riders but safe and not bad--there were multiple guides with us to keep pace with everyone in the group, whether you wanted to ride fast or slow and there was also security with us as well for extra safety. Rode through woods and the beach...lovely views...multiple points to stop and take pictures and get off ATVs to stretch. Lunch was okay. Options to upgrade to lobster, shrimp, crab. About a 30 min ride to ATV location from pick-up point. Must do while in Cartagena!

Great but beware of lunch scam

Hiring a private boat is a must. Otherwise, you are in a horrible cattle call with the other operators. It was worth every penny. You will be greeted by someone that gets you to the boat and then you are out on the boat all day. You can customize where you want to go and how long to stay. It was safe. My only complaint is that the beach club where we ate lunch they asked us if we wanted to provide lunch for the boat crew of two people. We felt pressured to do this. Why wouldn’t the boat crew bring their own lunch? It’s one thing if they were sitting there with us, of course we would buy them lunch, but they were attending to the boat. It just seems like they should pack their own lunch. We felt obligated so we did send them the lunch and we were surprised it was more expensive than we were expecting. This just reduce the amount we gave them as a tip at the end. I think it’s a scam with the restaurant so maybe it should be made very clear multiple times while we are still on the boat not to fall for the scam at the beach club. It was included in the pre-departure information, but it was in the fine print and not highlighted. Seems like the boat operators would not allow this to happen. Or they should have given us a printed out piece of paper in English that clearly says we have our own lunch. Do not buy us a lunch but we appreciate your tips.
