Such a nice time
It was such a fun experience! Loved it a lot. The crew members were very informative and helpful. The boat was nice and I felt comfortable. We saw 900 dolphins and 3 humpback whales and quite a few California sea lions! My friend did get sea sick but the crew members were helpful and attentive to her needs.

Don't pass this opportunity up
Our guide was amazing - he used to live in the neighborhood, and you could feel his love for the area and the city. It's on the longer side for a food tour, but this was advantageous because the food was spaced out so that we didn't feel stuffed, and we got a lot of great culture and history info everywhere we went. Every stop was excellent - the dim sum was all on point, the sandwich from Molinari's was incredible, the fresh fortune cookie was so tasty. The experience at the tea store was wonderful - the owner had us try many different teas and she made our time there fun and interesting. The gelato was so good that we went back the next day to try more. This was one of the best food tours I've taken, it's a can't-miss!

The entire experience was...
The entire experience was about 2 1/2 hours total from embarking to debarking. We liked the pre recorded audio guide but wished it was a bit louder. There were other visitors who were being obnoxious and for those who are hard of hearing (like me) it was hard to get near a speaker and listen. Sailing towards Emerald Bay was a beautiful experience. The vantage point beats driving around the lake infinitely. There are plenty of heads on the boat and there are 2 floors of dining areas and food n beverage for purchase. They make u take a photo before embarking and sell the pics for $45 but we felt the quality of the print was absent. Very faded like an old photo.

Whale Watching Boat Tour in Long Beach, CA
It was an amazing experience. The captain of the boat was great. He gave us lots of information during the tour and let us know when any sea life was out there and where to look! The waters were pretty smooth at the earliest time at 9:00am. It does get pretty cold out there, so bring a jacket. For those of you who may get sea sick or have a problem with motion sickness, be sure to take a Dramamine before you get on the boat. You’ll thank yourself and save yourself from feeling sick and nauseated throughout your trip. We saw a beautiful huge blue whale and I got a picture of his huge tail… so amazing! We also saw a mother humpback whale with her baby…!! We saw many pods of dolphins, big ones, small ones and more!! We saw 3-4 sea lions up and down in the water! Loved every minute of it… and enjoying the ocean! My friend and I had the best time! I will definitely go again! Viator has great choices and the prices are really good. Their instructions for your trip are so easy to follow.
