This is a must-do activity if you're in Palm Springs. Had a great time! The views are just incredible!
Sue_C, May 2026
It’s very cool!! I was impressed by how long it took to actually build and how they built the towers!!
Akila_B, May 2026
It was a nice view & good experience. Didn't try the food but I will next time. I also plan to revisit the hiking trails.

Extremely nice experience. The Tramway operators are fun. Be prepared for cooler temperatures upon the mountain (bring jacket) and walking shoes especially if you want to walk the many trails.

The wonderful experience of traveling up to the top with great operators and verbal communication about this trip, especially on the way down our conductor and music made the day great 👍
Vanessa_C, May 2026
A truly majestic experience! Pictures or videos do not capture the grandeur of this amazing wonder! The engineering is mind boggling, yet you feel completely safe while marveling the sights and surrounding views

A scenic way to go from the hot desert to the cool pines in just a few minutes.
It's easy to get to the tram station from Palm Springs and Palm Desert. Beautiful mountains surround the area. Bonus views of the wind turbines.
Once you arrive at the top of the mountain, there are several viewing areas to see the valley down below.
We went on a nice hike on the nature trail. A .75 mile loop. It's a steep incline switchback ramp back up to the tram station. But worth it.
There is a cafeteria style cafe and a really nice restaurant at the tram station up top. We ate at the restaurant. Our server was so friendly and the food was delicious. Especially the mushroom ravioli.
Great experience. Thanks to our travel agent for the recommendation.

It runs smoothly and on time. Very organized. Ride was smooth. Easy to find and wasn't confusing on way up

It would be nice if you can play music we can all sing to when going up or down on the tram. Kids and adults love it. I remember it from my last trip. Not so much this trip.
Terry_O, May 2026
It is very high if you have height issues you might not want to do this the view is beautiful and workers are very good

If you’re looking for a day hike adventure then this place is for you. Start early because it will get packed of people from the base to the summit top. Make sure you wear hiking shoes if you want to go for a mediocre leisure hike adventure. Views from the rotating lift is remarkable but hold on tight, photo ops a must! Great foods and restaurants at the top to start your day before your hike or after. Souvenir shops and wildlife awareness very educational. Ranger station can be very helpful info if you’re deciding which hiking trail to take for a day. I highly recommend this place at San Jacinto mountains. Don’t forget to bring your water, SPF lotion and sunglasses to rehydrate and definitely Enjoy it while you’re up there! Best Rock formations at this mountain range!

Memorable experience. If you are with an elderly person, you might want to drop them off at the entrance to the main building. It's a long walk up the hill.

The tram, restaurant, and hikes are lovely. Just don’t buy from Viator. They did not give us options for senior discounts, military discounts, or AAA discount.

Great opportunity to see the entire Coachella Valley and learn about the geology of the area. Lots of hiking trails and great for birdwatchers.
Paloma_G, May 2026
Definitely worth the tramway ride. NOT WORTH THE PEAKS RESTAURANT. WAY too overpriced and the food is very ew.
Marcee_G, May 2026
This is one of the best trams we've been on! Good process and pleasant employees. The tram floor rotates for a 360' view. It was great experience!!
Phil_C, May 2026
This is a great adventure.
It all starts with a great drive into the car park.
The trip to the top is fantastic with great views.
With the floor moving it allows everyone to see the scenery from all sides.
Scenery at the top of the mountain is outstanding.
I would definetely recommend this experience to others.
Lee_A, May 2026
The walk from the parking lot is very steep.
As you go to the top it does get colder.
There are two theaters for you to enhance your experience.
We had lunch at peaks. It was a little pricey for lunch but not bad. The food was great.
The ride down was even fun.
Robert_M, May 2026
A breathtaking 360-degree view awaits. This is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience. I’ve never come close to something as unique as the steep ascent up the mountain.
Bradley_B, May 2026
Due to a issue with the tram, rides were not available on the date of my tickets.
High wind could have been a factor too.
Cheryl_M, May 2026
Lots of fun. Very exciting. The views are exceptional. The gondola drivers are fun and personable. The restaurants are reasonably priced.
CINDY_H, May 2026
Tram was running very late due to electrical failure.
Friend said it did the same last week but people were stuck on tram for 8 hours!
Stephen_H, May 2026
Hot at the bottom and very Cold at the top, bring layers. The restaurant and drinks are very pricey.
Kelly_R, May 2026
This is just a voucher that you present to the ticket counter inside for a ticket to board the tram.
mark_k, May 2026

Had a good time. Had lunch there. Had steak sandwich. It was so tough. Hard to even cut the sandwich in half
Andrea_D, Apr 2026
The aerial tram was amazing. The views and experience were a must while in Palm Springs. The staff was also very knowledgeable and kind.
MaryAnn_B, Apr 2026
The weather at the bottom will not be the same as at the top. Check their website for current conditions and dress appropriately. You can buy a sweatshirt at the top but why would you want to?
