Fantastic experience! Bill was professional and kept the trip engaging. I loved that he treated his team with respect as he worked with them. We had an incredible experience on our hot air balloon ride with Rusty! He was not only a skilled pilot but also very informative, sharing interesting facts and history about the area. The views were absolutely breathtaking. We ended the ride with a lovely champagne toast, which made the experience even more memorable. We had to wake up early on a Sunday for this adventure but it was well worth it. The crew and pilot Pete were kind and professional. We got to see how air balloons rides happen from start to finish - very interesting. Loved it! The views were spectacular! Thank you for a fantastic experience.

A Beautiful Morning

This was a great experience from start to finish. The balloon basket holds 16 people, but it’s divided into four sections and it’s very comfortable. The flight over Temecula wine country is lovely and the balloon doesn’t go much over 1000 feet so the views are picturesque. Our guide was Bill. He is a licensed pilot and we had a great conversation as the friend I was traveling with is also a pilot. They both share the love of the skies and having feet off of the ground. Bill was knowledgeable, funny, and an excellent pilot. It was a very smooth ride, and I am told that Temecula is a great place for ballooning because the odds of them going up daily are high. I have signed up for three separate ballooning events in northern California and the winds have always been too high to go out. It was such a pleasure to have the opportunity to mark this off my bucket list. Temecula did not disappoint. This particular tour begins at the Europa villages and that’s a beautiful spot to begin a morning, and to have a champagne toast Overall, we were in the air about 47 minutes and that was plenty of time to enjoy the morning and the sunrise. The remaining time is in the preparation which we were able to watch. And once the balloon lands in a nearby field, watching them pack up the balloon so that we can all load up in our shuttle to return to our parking lot is an interesting and educating moment. I do recommend this particular tour. It was well run and professional. I felt safe at all times and was able to relax and enjoy the feeling of floating in the air. Riding in an hot air balloon should be a bucket list item, even for those who are hesitant to float through the skies.

Too short. Not worth the price.

Our balloon flight was only about 40 minutes long. We had a gentleman scream obscenities at us for flying too low over his house and waking him up. Seems like a known problem yet they still fly over his house. They landed and then they couldn’t get the transport to us so they wanted people to crawl back in the basket and ride on the back of the truck through the dirt field. That can’t be safe. Idk, I would save your money, while fun, it was only about half the time promised. Everyone else’s balloon got to go much further and see more. Our was cut way to short. We should be getting half price refund since we only got half of the activity,

Our pilots choose landing sites based on real-time conditions to ensure a safe and controlled descent, which sometimes can result in shorter flight times than others in the area. We do sincerely regret that a nearby resident expressed frustration during your flight — unfortunately, despite our ongoing efforts to avoid sensitive areas, weather and wind can occasionally require us to pass near certain neighborhoods. Regarding the retrieval process, we completely understand your concern. Occasionally, depending on where the balloon lands, the chase crew must adapt to terrain conditions to recover passengers safely and efficiently. While it may look unconventional, passenger safety remains our highest priority and no one is ever transported in a manner deemed unsafe by the pilot or crew. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving both communication and guest experience. Best experience we could’ve asked for as this was a first for both my boyfriend and I! Bill and the team with him were so funny and made the whole experience stress free and so much fun. There is someone in the room before you leave to get on the balloon who offers a picture package for $250 but the pictures we got while in the air for free were so amazing. The views of all the wineries are so beautiful and Bill recommended a lot of wineries to go and visit. The champagne/sparkling cider toast afterwards at Bolero wrapped the whole time together perfectly. 100/10 would recommend and we can’t wait to come back!
