Very good and they took great photos. 👍🏻 Mozart was very chilled and loads of other dogs along the way
Shailly_M, Jul 2026
The pics are totally worth it and Jon is very friendly. Bring water and stay hydrated. Do Uber and follow instructions by the organizer
Randy_L, Jul 2026
Jon and Mozart were so fun and made the hike much more enjoyable and memorable- comedy came with effortless humor and fun facts as well as historical references. We were not rushed and always felt safe and comfortable. The journey to the very top of the mount was exhilarating and we'll never forget 😎

Our guide Jon was knowledgeable, informative, and funny! His mellow doggy sidekick Mozart was the perfect complement. We had a great time on this hike!

Loved the history and anecdotes.
Well worth it. Jon was hilarious and Mozart was friendly and very chill! I’m a dog person but even if you aren’t he was a silent companion.
Laura_S, Jun 2026
Worth it! They did an awesome job. Interesting facts about the city , laughs, a sweet dog! They also took a ton of time taking great pics! We loved it!

This tour was wonderful! Jon and Michaela were excellent hosts. The communication was excellent and we encountered no challenges. Thanks for a great time!

The guides were so much fun and very knowledgeable, and having Mozart the dog accompany us made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Jon was incredibly knowledgeable and kept the tour fun with his sense of humor. He also takes amazing photos, so there’s really no need to pay for pictures at the top of the trail. One tip: bring cash for gratuities.
The only challenge was parking. We parked at a Park & Ride lot and took a Lyft to the meeting location, which worked out well. If you don’t want to deal with extra parking fees, I recommend taking a Lyft or Uber directly to the meetup spot.

Jon was great! Weather did not cooperate at first but he made it great anyways! He did not give up as we hiked to the top and when the weather did finally break he took the time to take some great pictures! His dog Mozart is super cute also! Would go again!!

Such a fun day. Our tour guide was funny and very knowledgeable of all things Los Angeles in Hollywood. I would do this every time I went to Los Angeles. Getting this close to the Hollywood Sun was absolutely amazing.

Jonathan is very upbeat with a great personality. Immersive storytelling, witty, and easy to follow guidance. Fantastic photos as well, which was an unexpected bonus. Highly recommend!

This was worth every penny! The tour was spectacular and the photos that Jon took were amazing. Just a couple of warnings ahead of time: consider going either early in the morning if you’re commuting by car so you can get a good parking spot nearby. It’s really difficult to find parking as the day goes on as this is a hotspot for tourists. I took my 5 and 6 year old with me and it was wonderful for them - they’re used to hikes so they handled it well. Bring plenty of water and also some patience - Jon takes his time to get the perfect shots on his camera so you can have the best photos of the experience. Jon brought lots of water bottles in case anybody forgot. It’s worth the wait so just be aware. Also, there are NO bathrooms on the trail. Get all your business done before you arrive.
I also want to mention that Michaela, the one who coordinated everything was wonderful. She messaged me before the tour and was super flexible with our schedule changes. I had a family emergency the day of our tour and she was able to get us rescheduled. Huge shout out to her for helping me out. She also assisted me with finding parking - we ultimately had to go to a parking garage and Uber to the park since the parking was THAT atrocious. We did this tour during Memorial Day weekend so that would explain why.
Again, this was worth every penny! You will love it, but do consider my warnings especially if you are doing this with young kids.

Best tour guide around!!! Made the long trek to the top so much more enjoyable!! Thanks Jon for keeping us motivated and entertained!!
Heather_M, May 2026
John and Michaela were fantastic! We loved hearing the history of the sign and the area. We were able to go at a slow enough pace that the long hike was very doable., considering some health issues we have. They know the area very well, and it is obvious they do this often. Michaela is not lying when she says they take fantastic pictures. The pics were amazing!
Emilie_B, May 2026

I have done a lot of different tours the last 3 weeks and this one is by far the absolute best. Jon was not only knowledgeable but hilarious. He is a master at taking pics and can grab you that once in a lifetime pic. If you are thinking of booking, do not hesitate. AMAZING!

Having read the very positive reviews regarding this tour we decided that we simply had to do this when we visited Los Angeles from London and I am so glad we did. John was fantastic from start to finish. Very knowledgeable, whitty and accommodating regarding every aspect of the experience, we had a great time learning the history of the sign and the park which was delivered in an engaging and fun way. We could not have asked for better or more and if spending a few hours in the sunshine being entertained and guided to the best spots to view the Hollywood sign is what you are looking for then there is no way better than this tour to do so.
Shamar_G, May 2026
Jon was an excellent guide, with great insights and top tier photography skills. Mozart was absolutely adorable! Highly recommend
Michael_G, May 2026
Such a fantastic way to see the Hollywood sign up close, learn some history, and experience some amazing views. Jon and Mozart are fantastic guides! If you're doing the full tour, be sure to bring a hoodie. It can chilly on top.

I had an amazing hike to the top of the Hollywood sign with our guide Michaela. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience enjoyable. She patiently clicked photos for us until we were completely satisfied and explained everything about the tour really well. Highly recommend!
