Hello, wildlife and alligator enthusiasts! I finally experienced a swamp and bayou tour. Despite the rain and the dense coverage of the national park, the pontoon boat was fantastic. The captain was highly knowledgeable about the canal waterways, and his local accent was charming and authentic. Within the park, we were limited in what we could do, but he explained the reasons why, and I’m looking forward to holding a wildlife animal in a different tour not a national park visits. During the tour, we saw a variety of wildlife, including alligators 4-6 ft long small , owls perched silently in trees, cranes wading through shallow waters, a bald eagle nesting high on a branch, and water turkeys (also known as anhingas) swimming gracefully. Snacks and beverages were available on board, but we had eaten beforehand. Overall, I found the experience very relaxing and enjoyable. I definitely plan to do it again. Our tour was amazing! Our tour guide was Dewy and he was phenomenal! He was very entertaining and had knowledge about the wildlife at specific locations in the swamp which allowed him to personally interact with the gators and raccoons and allow us plenty of photo opportunities. I would highly recommend this tour and Dewy!!

Great Tour with professional pickup right at my hotel front and drop off. Lorraine was a very enthusiastic driver to the bayou and she gave us local insights along the way. She really seems to care about her job and the people she meets. This company has the option for small airboat tours of only 9 people on a boat and I highly recommend using the small boat option. It may be slightly more expensive, but it’s more intimate and tailored to the group you’re with plus you get to maneuver into smaller areas versus the larger boats in overall it’s just more bespoke can’t say enough about Captain Ernie not only was he very knowledgeable about the Bayou. He gave us local insights that only somebody with 10 generations on the swamp could give you in some real world facts about what’s happening to the destruction of the wetland that really make you think over the hour and a half. I was on the swamp. I saw at least two dozen gators on top of local birds and all sorts of other wildlife. The best part of the whole trip was going to the original Cypress Bayou, and seeing the stark difference between what it was and what it has become overall I felt like this was a worthwhile morning for my trip to New Orleans with equal parts, excitement learnings, and overall local flare. I would recommend this to anybody, especially a solar traveler like myself who wants to attack on something interesting to a work trip.

Ian, our airboat guide, made the trip both memorable and informative. He made several stops along the way to share interesting facts about the swamp and its ecosystem. The most exciting part of the tour was watching him interact with the alligators. He was able to get remarkably close to them, even touching some of them, and demonstrated how they are fed marshmallows. It was a unique experience that made the tour both entertaining and educational.

It's quiet a bit of walking but it is completely worth it. Public paid parking only. I had a really good time at both the aquarium and insectarium. The butterfly room was definition a unique experience. During my visit I was also able to both pet a ray and watch the penguins get fed.

Edward was courteous and provided lots of interesting tidbits about New Orleans/Louisiana during the drive with opportunities for photos. Whitney Plantation was one of the most memorable parts of our trip, presenting the perspective of a person who is enslaved. Would definitely recommend!

Edward was very professional and welcoming. We had a nice conversation and a quick tour of the surroundings he drove us through the business district to the hotel. Our flight was delayed , yet Edward was waiting until we arrived. Perfect start to out trip.

Our guide Kimberly and our driver Alton were awesome. Kimberly shared she has a background in education and it shows. She was thorough and interactive and knew how to work a crowd! She was a delight and we followed her protip... I got a muffalata to travel with and it was soooo good! I would recommend the tour based on our experience with your team!
