Amazing cemetery and history tour of New Orleans cemeteries
Amazing tour guide David and Captain Carl took us on an amazing and spooky tour of the dead in Nee Orleans. We learned about the history of VooDoo and Santeria religions. We saw the amazing Odd Fellows Rest and Charity Hospital Cemeteries and history that spanned the origins of New Orleans up to Hurricane Katrina. Amazing tour. Highly recommend.

A great way to spend half a day.
This tour was well worth it. Derek was our driver for the 45-minute ride to the boat and provided lots of anecdotes on the way as well as recommendations for places to eat. Scott was our boat captain and showed us alligators, herons, egrets, snakes and the most adorable clan of raccoons, as well as information about the ever changing river/bayou environment.

Creole Queen excursion
You have to check in at the kiosk in front of the Creole Queen paddle boat even if you have the barcode on your phone. You must have paper tickets to get on the paddle boat. They take a nice photo and are not pushy at selling these at the end. They have seats outside and inside. The meal was average but probably not worth the money. You can purchase drinks inside and ice water is free.
Charles the commentator was amazing he was spot on with his history since he has family and resides there. We really enjoyed his comments and humor.
The battlefield park area goes by quick so maybe leave before the end of his speaking if you want to see the inside museum. It would have been nice to have more time here. The battle of New Orleans was fought where they drop you off.

Great Swamp Tour, plenty Alligators
We had a Great time with Captain Daren, very informative about the land & wildlife, the boat ride was smooth and we saw many gators, turtles and even a bald eagle in the nest.
There was white egrets and great blue heron birds. Marsh & various species of trees.
In general we had a wonderful time, the boat is covered so you are protected from any rain or sun exposure. Pick a morning time for a bit cooler experience, South LA is beautiful and the swamp tour gives you a glimpse into a Cajun’s fisherman’s environment and you’ll see some alligators on the tour.

Fun and extra surprises too!
We had a great small airboat excursion thanks to Captain Jason! He took us all around the lake and marshes sometimes going really fast another times slow as needed in the marshes and your alligators. We had many photo ops with the alligators! Jason was very engaging and knowledgeable! There were a couple very welcomed surprises on our adventure as well! I highly recommend this tour from Captain Jason!

Very informative tour, I...
Very informative tour, I recommend taking this tour over the other bus tour, unless you want to go visit the cemetery and beignet shop. Yes I have did the other tour last time , I came and visited New Orleans, and I like this one better. I learned , so much more historical things.

Do not overlook spending one or two days there.
It is an amazing museum. The museum is very detail oriented. If we come back to New Orleans it will be to spend more time at this incredible place. They did such a great job of representing everyone who contributed to the war. We loved it!! I learned a lot about WWII history.

Great in spite of the cold!
We had booked this experience weeks ahead, only to have a weird cold snap happening and affecting our day. However, we still had a great time! Garrett was our captain and was still able to find a mama alligator to show us. I think we only saw 3 in total (no surprise with the cold) but some beautiful birds and the landscape were still all worth it. So much great information was shared and the air boat experience alone was so fun (even in 40 something degree weather)! Highly recommend this to anyone considering going.

Great and Ghoulish
You have to take a ghost tour while in NOLA and this one was a great combo of so many NOLA things. Totally worth it. Jamie was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. She loves her city and it showed. You will get a history and she will blow your mind about misconceptions you probably have about VooDoo.

Best birthday carriage ride Eva!
It was a fantastic experience. The tour guide was phenomenal! He had the best NOLA tour stories and connected well with our girl group! He was so pleasant and even took birthday pictures of me celebrating 50 years with my girlfriends & his horse after the tour!

Beautiful aquarium arch,...
Beautiful aquarium arch, great for photography and cool insect exhibits. I particularly liked the butterfly garden and the arch. You could even trying eating bugs if you dare. Nice fun facts too. It’s been a while since I’ve to an aquarium, so this felt like a treat.
