Your tour begins at a central location, where you greet your guide and immediately immerse yourself in the spooky atmosphere of historic St. Augustine.
Following your costumed guide, stroll through the dimly lit streets to spots of reputed haunting. Creep through two cemeteries, listening to spine-tingling tales of ghost sightings, and delve into the haunted history of the Old Fort and the city gates.

- A Ghostly Encounter’s Storm Policy (as follows)
- 1. A Ghostly Encounter tours operate rain or shine. Florida weather changes rapidly and is unpredictable, and we monitor our weather prior to all tours.
- 2. If lighting is present in the area: we will delay the start of the tour for 20 minutes to give the storm time to pass, then proceed as normal.
- 3. If lightening remains present in the area, management may decide to reschedule the tour. Guests will be moved to the following evening’s tours or to the nearest date convenient with the group.
- 4. If rescheduling is not convenient, each guest will be provided a voucher for a future A Ghostly Encounter tour, subject to availability. For offer to be valid, guest must present the voucher directly to our office staff upon returning to St. Augustine or speak directly with the office staff to reschedule (not through a third-party booking site). Please remember to bring your voucher with you. Lost or forgotten vouchers will not be honored; however, vouchers do not expire.

Expect to walk and stand a lot. Some people may want a flash light or phone to light the path. Great "ghost" stories.

The pirate told has stories of the dead who have not left. From a young boy to a QUEEN wife he made them alive even though they’ve been long dead.

Blanco was very knowledgeable about his city. You can tell he enjoys what he does. My daughter thought it was great that he was dressed up like a pirate! He provides a lot of history about the city, would have liked a little more ghost storytelling.

I’ve been on many ghosts tours, and this was very disappointing. The tour guide, while enthusiastic, did not know how to tell a story. And over the course of 90 minutes, only told 5 stories. I picked up a book in a local library that was filled with St. Augustine ghost stories. There are plenty he could have shared and didn’t..

We had great time with The Sheriff! He had the best stories and historical insights! He was engaging and entertaining, with tales of odd happenings, creepy facts, sad tales, and even some funny stories. I highly recommend you request him for your tour.

Outdoor walking tour. Rain and lightening. We did not go and no one called me back. Paid for something in advance that I didn't use. I will NOT do that again!

Our rain policy is provided to each client prior to touring. As stated, our tours proceed rain or shine and there is a 24 hour cancellation policy in place. Several of our guides, including myself, were working outside the night of your tour and-while there was a steady rain-there was no lightning in the area. Since your cancellation request occured within a few hours of your scheduled tour time, your refund request was denied.

We had an absolute blast on this tour! Not only was Blanco amazing but he gave so much history of the town. It really made it come full circle! I love that he was dressed up because we did a ghost tour in New Orleans and our tour guide never dressed up so that was a really fun surprise! Definitely would recommend it to everyone!

Blanco was an awesome tour guide. He is a wonderful story teller and his tour is a nice blend of history and paranormal, with a little humor mixed in! My spouse and I have participated in many St. Augustine ghost tours over the years and this was one of our favorites for sure. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in St. Augustine's dark history and the many spirits who remain to this day.

The tour guide Dexter was amazing with his storytelling. However, the tour is not ghostly, it’s mostly about creepy stories of St Augustine. It’s basically a night walking tour around St Augustine’s cemeteries and fort.
