Good: Took us to some really good bars with air-conditioning (mid-Aigust).
Bad: Stories were not very interesting. Only 3 stories, 3 bars.
Guide was nice but not a natural storyteller. I guess I expected more of a haunted tour. People on the tour made it fun.

Carl knew his information. We were given shot glasses at the beginning of the tour but didn't get a discounted drink or any purpose for the shot glass around my neck. The story telling could have been condensed. Four people dropped out of the group before it was over.

Thanks for your point of view. No where do we advertise drink discounts. We do give each guest a very cool souvenir - but that does not mean it is supposed to be used on the tour to drink from - it is a souvenir. Your guide could have explained this if you asked. Sorry that the free gift was confusing to why it was handed out. We will be sure to explain better. Carl receives stellar reviews for his tours all the time but sometimes a fun social Haunted Pub Tour is not for everyone and some ppl book the wrong tour - but we have done this tour for 25 years now and it is a huge success that 99% of all ppl love.
Very fun evening and great history! Our guide Hailey was awesome and has a fun personality! I would recommend!
It should be written in the booking information that the first bar you go to is a Cigar Bar. The smoke was so thick that we didn’t feel comfortable going in.
Carl was great and told interesting stories. Unfortunately, we left early since we were exhausted from a long day already. Will do it again next visit and not on our first day in St. Augustine.

Mike was our tour guide and he did an amazing job with the stories in each pub and about St. Augustine during our tour. Each pub was great and had it's own story and the atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend this tour and hopefully you'll get Mike as your tour guide.
Carl was fantastic. His stories were so interesting and he was attentive to his guests. The pubs we visited were great and a fantastic was to get to know the city and its history.
The second pub is a cigar pub and though you stay outside if you want a drink you have to go inside. It is so smoky! I couldn’t breathe, several of us walked out. The guide Michael was funny and good at his job.
It was great fun, very personable, St Augustine has unlevel walking paths, and our tour guide is passionate about his trade.
Well organized and super fun. Set this up with 6 of our friends for a little pre-Halloween fun. It was perfect! Plenty of time at each stop to grab a drink, hear a story, and finish drink before heading to the next stop.

Lots of stories. Did not get to see actual rooms/objects where
hauntings actually took place. Just sat in bars, drinking and listening to stories of thesupposd hauntings by Steve. The cemetary with photo of young boy in tree was most aurthentic.

Nothing stands out, uneventful, venues for the pub crawl were average. Light on ghost stories when ur in the oldest city in the US. We were hoping for more places with haunted significance.
