    Got away from the crowds and filled our memory books with nature

    Our guide was super friendly. She took our request for seeing the real side of town and getting away from the crowds seriously. We got to the top of a mountain and then saw waterfalls and found berries and saw otters and eagle in heaven. She stopped for great photos and squeezed in a visit with the bears. We were happy to spend time with her. Made great memories we’ll never forgot.

    Bumble Expeditions came to the rescue when our shore excursion booked through the cruise ship was canceled very last minute. They sent Joe super quick for this private experience. Joe was a super nice guy and was very information and funny. He was willing to be spontaneous and stop wherever we wanted to stop. But - and this is my suggestion to anyone else booking this tour - have an idea of exactly what you want to do with your 2.5 hours of this tour. We had some general ideas but was also looking to Joe for some guidance. And he did a fantastic job given the little guidance we gave him. And the weather also prevented us from doing a few things we had hoped to. Ultimately, our tour ended a little early but at no fault of Joe or Bumble. The price is pretty steep given the length of time and that this can only be for 4 people - so come with ideas and plans and make the most of your time in Sitka!
