Great Tour!

Carl picked us up on-time in a very clean and comfortable van at the Seward cruise terminal. He took us to multiple locations during the trip back to Anchorage where the scenery was just breathtaking. During the trip he continuously provided information about our surroundings and also gave us many photography tips. At the halfway point we had lunch at a local restaurant and visited a small museum in Hope, Alaska. Big thanks to Carl for a great experience and also for taking the extra time to work with my daughter who is an amateur photographer. P.S. You don’t need a fancy camera for this tour. Carl will teach you how to take incredible photos with your smartphone. He showed me settings I never knew I had!

The owner of the company, Carl, was our guide. He picked us up promptly; he texted us prior to let us know he was outside. He showed us spots in Seward that I had never seen before when I lived in Alaska. Atevery stop along the way to Anchorage, he helped us use our iPhone cameras; one young girl got lots of pointers with her digital camera. He had us take pictures and then he helped us improve them; and showed us all sorts of tips iPhone cameras that we didn’t know about. He’s very personable & gave us lots of information about Alaska. It’s definitely a tour worth taking and a great drive from Seward to Anchorage. We would take any of his tours and hope to do a polar bear one if the state again allows them.

Best way to get to Anchorage

This is a fantastic tour! Ben picked us up, right in front of the terminal, in a very nice, new, Mercedes van. It was very comfortable. Ben knows a lot of “hidden” gems, spots for perfect pictures! He also gives you guidance to get the absolutely BEST shots. And he was happy to take some for us, so we could both be in the shot. Between locations, he entertained and educated us with facts about Alaska. He even took us to his favorite ice cream spot for a DELICIOUS flavor we had never heard of before. And, he took us to the best spot for locally sourced, hand-crafted gifts, not all that stuff that says, “made in China”. We honestly believe this is THE BEST way to get from Seward to Anchorage, so much more enjoyable than the big busses!
