The driver was very nice and knowledgeable. It wasn't worth the money.
It should be more hands on for the cost.

We ended up being the only two passengers as a large group had cancelled. Bryan was our guide and volunteered to customize to our needs (but we generally stuck to the scheduled program). Really had great conversations, some additional unscheduled stops when something was of special interest to us, and it was just very pleasant.

Brian was an awesome guide! His years of experience and knowledge helped us learn about the area. This is a great way for tourists, for those just moving to the area, and even for those who have lived in Seattle for awhile to see what this beautiful, bustling city has to offer. This new tour was from 8:30-3pm and included an hour cruise around the harbor. We visited Starbucks headquarters, Google, the infamous Pikes Place Market, Ivars, so many places. It was a great use of time and great value for the cost.

We really enjoyed this sea and land , Pike market place, the Argosy harbor tour, because our tour guide Bryon was very knowledgeable, he explained very well, I learned a lot , also he’s very engaging with people, very caring for senior. We would recommend him to our family and friends.
Thank you Bryon, we hope to see you again!

Great experiencing all the the sights, sounds, and tastes of Seattle, . It was fun exploring the Market. Really cool checking out the Starbucks reserve and learning all about the coffee experience. We got to see the Seattle skyline from several vantage point and from the water. Guides were knowledgeable and helpful throughout our tour. Looking forward to another visit!

The tour was fantastic. I loved that you get a chance to do city portion mixed with the sea. The boat felt like an extra added bonus from any other tours. I feel that the tour was extremely informative and the guides really knew the history well and were so friendly. I would highly recommend this tour to and friends or family.

Rob did an amazing job showing us around during our guided tour. Viator had to modify the tour, but it turned out even better than we thought it would.
I will continue to use Viator.

I really enjoyed see Seattle by van and being able to get out and explore several stops along the way! It was a great combination tour!! Our guide, Bryan, was entertaining and knowledgeable. My favorite stop was Kerry Park in Queen Anne! The view was fantastic and Bryan directed my daughter and I to the house that was filmed as the home of the interns on Grey’s Anatomy!! Another favorite stop was Pike’s Place Market - fun to explore the labyrinth that is Pike’s!! Gorgeous flowers, fresh seafood, fruits and veggies and so many interesting shops on the lower levels!! All in all a wonderful day!!

My partner and I are from Seattle, but are always looking for new ways to play tourist in our own backyard. This Land & Sea tour was an excellent way to pack a circumnavigation of the entire city into a single day! All we had to do was show up to meet our Guide/Driver Brian and get zipped around in the minibus. Brian was excellent at peppering the commute between stops with fun facts and amazing puns. It was such a relief to let someone else handle the driving, parking, and navigation of the constantly changing one-way/pedestrian-only/bus-only streets downtown.
I am not a morning person, but appreciated this tour's earlier start since we got dropped off at at Pike Place Market right around 9AM, before it was too crowded. Not every shop or restaurant is open that early, but you're able to walk back and forth along all levels without feeling like a salmon swimming upstream. Speaking of salmon, with the lower crowds, you can actually get a front row standing space when the fishmongers throw them back and forth. And, just around the corner from the "flying fish" is the mini donut stall which means you snag a bag of freshly fried dough before the line gets long.
This tour also zips you between all three of the best views of Seattle; West Seattle, the Sound, and Kerry Park. On overcast and rainy days, you may not see the mountains, but you still get the best postcard and TV show views of the skyline. We lucked out with the tiniest cloud breaks allowing us a glimpse of Mt. Rainier from West Seattle.
The harbor cruise with Argosy mid-tour was a neat way to see the other side of all the sites our guide Brian had driven us. It's also one of the only ways to see the Olympic Sculpture Park from the water since the ferries don't travel that far north on their crossings.
On the Argosy cruise, there's a different guide narrating over the speakers so you can learn more about what you're seeing. They also have an onboard bar with local beers and wines and let you walk around the entire boat with the drinks so you can find the best view point while you sip.
One thing to note is that after your harbor cruise, you're back on the mini-bus to head to Kerry Park which does not have a restroom. Make sure you hit up the head on the boat, or at the free waterfront public restrooms before you get back on the bus or you may be too distracted to enjoy the hilltop views at Kerry Park!
Overall, we really enjoyed our tour and would recommend it, even if you're local to Seattle or have done other tours. Our guide was full of information, even answering questions on history unrelated to the tour.

What a memorable and fun experience! Seattle has changed after I moved to Federal Way about 10 years ago and it’s exciting to see it improved and more beautiful. Our tour guide was very helpful with where to go when we were on our own, friendly, knowledgeable and an expert about Seattle. I felt safe and comfortable viewing and enjoying the scene on the tour bus and cruise ship. Our group was entertained from beginning to the end and the pacing of the tour was just right. I love the different locations that we toured, especially starting early at Pike Place. The tour brought back memories of Seattle’s beauty and progress the city has made over the years. The variety of different locations (downtown Seattle, West Seattle, Elliott Bay, Queen Ann) and experiences made it a fun and learning tour for me.

It was really informative and a good way to see a lot of the core area of seattle with a really informed guide.

This was a wonderful tour with a knowledgeable guide. There was plenty of time devoted to independent exploration, particularly at Pike Place market and the waterfront. The Argosy Cruise was a nice treat at the end giving new views of the city. I highly recommend!

This tour was amazing - we learned so much trivia about the area, explored Pike Place Market and the waterfront on foot, took a boat tour around Elliott Bay, and stopped all over Seattle at great photo spots. Both tour guides - in the van and the boat - were very knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend this tour!!

If you’re looking for more interaction in a tour, this is a great option. There is built in time to “get out of the bus” and explore various places on the tour. Plus you’ll get to spend time on the water and hear fun facts from the Argosy Captain. This adds an extra perspective to the tour you won’t hear from the land side of the tour from any other tour guide company.
Overall, a great way to experience Seattle for visitors and residents alike. Whether you live here or not, you’re bound to learn something new!

My partner and I took this tour recently, we live near Seattle but were looking for a Saturdate we could do that was close to home but still something different/new.
That’s where the Seattle Coty tour enters! The day started with a van pickup by local driver Bryan at the MoPop museum. Bryan was overall a cheerful and knowledgeable driver. He has a lot of Seattle knowledge to share!
The first stop of the day was Pike Place Market where we had an hour to check out the market, buy some “walking donuts”, and take those down to the new pedestrian walkway that overlooks the waterfront. Since we were at the market from 9-10AM, it was cool to see it waking up for the day!
After that we took a quick jaunt over to Alki Beach in West Seattle to see some different water sights, and have a quick walk around a pier and check out a vista of downtown Seattle.
3rd stop was the very impressive Starbucks Reserve at their corporate Headquarters in SoDo. It wasn’t our official lunch stop, but the selection of artisan pizza, sandwiches and other foods looked awesome! The whiskey barrel aged/infused coffee was delicious!
Our official lunch stop was back up on the waterfront Piers, where options ranged from Ivars Clams to Premier Meat Pies. Which a chance to walk up and down some more of the new waterfront walkways.
The “main event” of the day was a 1 hour long Argosy cruise around Elliot Bay, where we got to see unique views of downtown, lower Magnolia, all the Seattle Piers, and Vigor shipyards.
During this there was a nice running commentary from the crew with various facts about Seattle, its marine life, Ferry system and more.
I do think the cruise is a nice addition to the day activities. Even someone like me who does live near Seattle, doesn’t get that water view perspective often. So I’d imagine out of towners would find it impressive!
After finishing the cruises and reuniting again with Bryon, we got a drive up to Queen Anne hill that went by a few historic and noteworthy old Seattle homes. This portion ended at Kerry Park, which is home to the “postcard” view of downtown. So named because of its wide use in postcards and other promotional material.
Sadly all good things must come to an end, and soon after wrapping up at the park we were back at MoPop and saying goodbye to Bryan and his trusty and comfy bus.
Thank you Bryan for your expert navigation of busy Seattle, and your wit and knowledge!

This tour had just the right amount of experiences and information from a tour guide. They got us to Pike Place Market for an hour first thing in the morning so we didn't have crowds of people to push through. Our guide gave us ideas of key places to check out, as well as location for bathrooms. Then for a short informative ride to West Seattle to get one of the iconic views of Seattle, and a chance to peer into the water to look for starfish. We also got to go to a Starbuck Reserve Cafe, where they sell extra special varieties of coffee beans and of course, coffee. Back to the waterfront, where we had some time to wander around and have lunch before the Harbor Tour on Argosy Tours. That was wonderful, very scenic, with information that only a local could know about some of the skyscrapers, cruise ships, and ocean going ships. Finally, a short ride up to Kerry park for the best known view of Seattle. Beautiful! Just the right amount of time on our own, and time in the bus. The pick up location was easy to find, as well as easy to find parking early in the morning.
