It was great!! We learned things about Seattle we had no idea of before the relationship with Nordstrom's as well as the barges that were pointed out to carry cargo from main 48 to either Hawaii or Alaska. Then didn't realize the logo for Starbucks wore a crown.
Loved the tour, but wear proper clothing for cold weather. It was different than your typical harbor tour, the German chocolate alcohol was great! I would suggest improving signage and directions of the meeting place though. The views of Downtown Seattle and the sunset over Puget Sound were breathtaking.
It was a great day for the tour. Lots of paid parking. The market is beautiful. Lots of walking so bring your good comfy shoes. Our tour guide, Chip Wood, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the city and the market. He even gave other recommendations for places to tour in Seattle. All of the food tastings on the tour were great. I especially enjoyed the clam chowder. Highly recommend this tour.
This cruise was great! If a laid back experience is what you’re looking for, this is it. My parents visited from out of town and they enjoy being on the water. I took a chance on this experience and I’m so glad I did. We learned a lot about the area and it was just a fun time seeing the South Sound from the water. Highly recommended!
Lovely trip - loads of little known information about the area. Both the narrator and the ship captain were very informative about local history and what to expect on the boat ride. We did the Lake Union to DT Seattle tour and bussed back. Highly recommend!
Watching the sun set behind the jagged Olympic Mountains from Seattle is an experience you can only get from the Pacific Northwest. Tour operators offer an array of Seattle sunset cruises from which to choose, including private trips aboard sailboats to public trips on small cruise ships. Some tours offer food and beverages for purchase or include a drink with your trip. While aboard, look for local marine life, such as seals, sea lions, otters, and whales.
