Fantastic day! Cheryl was superb and very knowledgeable about Mt Rainier and Seattle. Very comfortable car. We stopped for lunch at a beautiful old hotel. Over 100 years old. Then made our way back down for more studying vistas and a couple of walks. Altogether a very enjoyable day.

Oh my, just seeing Mt. Rainier reveal itself from behind a huge cloud bank, was jaw dropping. My wife absolutely loved loved loved seeing the marmots. Cheryl was one the top small tour guides we have ever booked. Her professional approach was like listening to a PhD in botany, zoology, and history, yet she was down to earth, and very patient. Cheryl was a wonderful example of what a small group tour should look like! Do yourself a favor, stop shopping, and book Cheryl now.

Mt. Rainier private tour

We had a wonderful experience on this private tour. We felt comfortable right away with Cheryl. We visited numerous walking trails, as well as some spots for extra photo opportunities. Flexibility and Relaxation on a Private Mt. Rainier Tour

Our private Mt. Rainier tour gave us a rest from driving ourselves and also flexibility to stop when we wanted to along the way. Although it was a hot and hazy day, our tour guide, Llyle, made the day special. She shared lots of good stories about the park, Seattle and the state of Washington. She stopped a few times on the way to the park so we could take pictures of interesting roadside sights. We went two places for short hikes, and Llyle told us to take whatever time we wanted. When the parking lots were full in the park, she found a solution so we didn't have to skip anything or walk from distant parking areas. The SUV for the tour was quite comfortable, and water and snacks were provided. On a group tour, we would have felt we needed to wear face masks all day, but this private tour made us feel safe, since our guide had been vaccinated. This tour is something you could drive and do on your own, but it was relaxing to leave all the logistics to someone else.

Mount Rainier ~ Cheryl's Northwest Tours

We were picked up at a SeaTac airport hotel by our tour guide, Cheryl. The tour is done in an SUV with two couples maximum. No one else had scheduled for that day [a Wednesday] so my husband and I ended up with a private tour. Cheryl did a wonderful job of stopping at numerous photo opportunities and was very knowledgeable about Mount Rainier and the surrounding area. We picked up our lunch at a Seattle area grocery store before heading to Mount Rainier. Mother Nature cooperated greatly and we had a beautiful, clear day for the tour. There were numerous areas for hiking with various skill levels. My husband and I are in our 70s and Cheryl took us through areas that were fairly level and based on our low level of hiking skills. She was knowledgeable about various trees, plants, etc in the different areas along with many beautiful photo opportunities.

Private mt. Rainier

We were picked up from cruise ship . Cheryl contacted us day before so there was no miscommunication on time for pick up. We had a delicious lunch and even had ice cream afterwards. Cheryl was knowledgeable on our trip and we had an amazing day and my husband got wonderful shots. And we have enough time and was not rushing for our flight to the airport. Cheryl’s Northwest tours is the best and the car was clean and accommodated all our needs.
