We leave from and return to Maritime Pier, Gig Harbor. Parking is in the surrounding few blocks, in addition to the small lot at the pier. You can bring your own picnic. Our boat has a bathroom and there are public restrooms at the pier to use before hand. Dress for the cool evening breeze.

Wonderful outing. Easy meet-up spot next to Tides Tavern. Very accessible for all ages and fitness levels. They do have a spot on the top of the vessel that you have to be able to climb a ladder to enjoy, but certainly not a necessity as there are plenty of other spots to sit both inside and out. Informative captain. Started the tour with a brief history of the harbor then we went out towards the narrows bridge. Lots of good wildlife spotting. Sea lions, seals, bald eagles, and porpoises. When it started to get chilly the deckhand came around offering warm blankets to everyone. They do advertise a bathroom on board but we did not need the facilities during the two hour excursion so cannot speak to that. All in all, great experience.
