The Sunset Dolphin Eco Tour takes place on the River Street Landing dock just in front of the restaurant Spanky's on River Street. The vessel you will be going on is called the River Explorer. Your crew will be at the top of the ramp to greet you and board approximately 30-min prior to departure.

- The River Explorer vessel does have a few steps up to the boat to board. This is why we are not wheelchair accessible along with the cobble stone you would need to cross on River Street to the dock.

Very fun adventure, well worth the money! Actually it is a great value. Tour guides were awesome. We did the sunset tour, and cannot recommend it more! We seen a lot of sea birds on our trip, and a couple dolphin. One named "chip" hung out with us for a while giving ample opportunity for photos and amazement. Coming back to dock to a sunset was beautiful! Plus you got to wave at all the people that didnt book a Sunset cruise. Don't be thoes people!

Highly recommend! I did this experience two weeks in a row with friends visiting from out of town. The crew is funny and very knowledgeable and we saw dolphins both nights. I learned a lot about the river and the industry along it. AND…the sunsets were breathtaking both nights. Book this tour! You won’t regret it!

This was an amazing experience. I took my daughter for her 17th birthday celebration and it was nothing short of Amazing. We learned some interesting information about the waters of the port canal, the ecosystem, and much more from the captain and vessel mates. The music was some great classics from arid Stewart and Toto. We loved every second of it. The Sun on the water, the beautiful sky during sunset despite the clouds, and so much more. We are definitely going to recommend and set sail again with more family.

My 15 year old daughter and I had a great time. No sunset because of clouds, but we saw alot of dolphins and some other wildlife. Connor and Tanner we great. Knowledgeable funny and great energy.

There are many different things to see along the river. We did see dolphins but the clouds covered the sunset. Skylar and Conner did a great job informing us of everything along the way.

Our captain and mate were excellent guides! Full of cheer and joy, while at the same time focused on safe navigation. Luckily, we were treated to an exuberant show of dolphins within the first 15 minutes of our trip! What a way to cap off a warm Savannah day. If they could have ordered a more colorful sunset, things would have been more than perfect.

Fantastic tour. Super educational and we saw tons of dolphins AND 2 bald eagles, as well as some other wildlife. The tour guides are great. Ended with an epic sunset. Dolphins and sunsets are never guaranteed, but you could tell that the tour guides really wanted to deliver on those two things. 😆 As someone who plans events for groups I also understand that pressure, and our trip ended with a memorable evening thanks to this tour!

Unfortunately, our tour did not see any dolphins, though I knew that was a possibility. The captain and mate were very nice but wish they were more informative about the area and talked more as we spent over 30 minutes just floating around the dock we were disembarking from. Since we knew there were no dolphins around that part of the river, I would have rather left the boat as the seats were not that comfortable.

Despite gray clouds and the threat of rain we took off on a relaxing and informative voyage down the Savannah River. Complete with dolphins!! Both the captain and her assistant had both educational and informative material to impart about the port, the salt marshes, and the history of this city. The trip was capped off with a lovely sunset over the city.

Our captain Connor and his first mate did a very good job of finding things for us to see. I wasn't expecting a big alligator! The dolphins put on quite a show for us. Even though the weather brought some challenges (rain at times), the crew pivoted and provided a great experience. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see some marine wildlife and a good view of River street.

The picture is deceiving, it’s not a big boat it’s a pontoon with benches not like a cruise, got off the ship bc I wasn’t going to be on there for 2 hour😂

Great experience! We saw dolphins as well as got a great view of the riverfront. The crew was very personable, entertaining, and informative. I and everyone in our 8 person group ( children and adults) would recommend!

This was a great sunset dolphin tour! We spotted dolphins and got great explanations about the industry, ecological, and vessels docked along the river. My kids ages 4-14 all had a great time!

I had an emergency fall with my mother and had to cancel four hours before the trip. I called so they could offer the seats to someone else. The woman who answered was very understanding, but the manager was very flippant the next day not knowing what day my reservation was and just reiterated the 24 hour cancel policy. I won't be ever using them again, get your facts straight before you call a customer back who's been in the ER all night.

My six year old said the dolphin tour was her favorite activity during our Savannah trip. Not only is the ride beautiful, but the captain and first mate are very knowledgeable. We all learned a lot and saw some dolphins!

Connor and Tanner were fantastic. They had great energy, humor and information. Though it took awhile to find a dolphin pod, they knew some likely spots to try and were right on with their guesses. We had our four year old with us, and she had a blast. The timing was just right - we saw a lot without being on the boat for too long - and Connor and Tanner were clear about when and why we needed to turn back in order to see the sun set over Savannah. Thanks for a great experience!

Perfect for family. My daughter is 3.5 year old. She loves the experience. I’m so proud of her went through all the engine noises and wind. She loves shelling and learned all different sea creatures on the beach. Definitely love to see all the dolphins!
