My husband and I took the 90 minute sightseeing cruise on 6/16/2025. We highly recommend it! We sat on the top deck. Yes, it was a very hot day but they have ample seating with umbrellas and once the boat is moving we got a nice breeze. They do have a deck with a/c that still has good views if you cannot handle the heat up top. Captain Mike did a great job with the tour. Provided a lot of interesting information and incorporated quite a few fun dad jokes to keep it extra memorable. Acacia was working the bar up top and she was friendly and made delicious drinks! My husband had a draft beer and purchased the souvenir glass. Nicely priced at $15.75 for a 20 oz and refills were at $8.25. I had a frozen daiquiri also in a souvenir glass ($15.75 and $6.75 for refills). The glass for this one was insulated and helped to keep my frozen drink from melting too quickly. Acacia was really great!
We did order food half way through. I got the blackened chicken club with fries. It was so good and quite large! I ended up giving half to my husband (reluctantly because it tasted so good - chicken was very juicy)! My husband got the classic grilled cheese with fries. Also very good. The crew was really great and we definitely would recommend this cruise!
My only feedback would be the pictures. They take a photo of your group as soon as you board the ship. Then before the tour ends, they bring the photos around to see if you want to buy the package. I think it included one larger photo and 2-3 smaller ones for about $40. We didn't purchase it because we often do and these end up sitting in a drawer. My advice would be to ditch the package and cardboard frame and offer just a 5x7 or 8x10 for $10. We would have definitely purchased that. I saw many others say no as well. I think you could make more sales offering this option.
I would definitely recommend this cruise. It was a great experience at a great price for the cruise, drinks, and food. Thanks for adding something memorable to our first trip to Savannah!

our guide was amazing and taught us lots of things, we got to see a dolphin and some historical landmarks
Pamela_M, May 2026
It was a decent experience to experience the riverboat tour. The inside of the boat is outdated could be fixed up to make it a little bit more modern more up-to-date. But otherwise it was fine. Great commentary in history information.

Great time on board, really enjoyed the narration given while we were cruising.
Highly recommend, plenty of great seating to view many historical sites.
Lisa_H, May 2026

We love being on the water on any kind of a boat, so we found this a nice relaxing 90-minute cruise. The overall experience felt pretty typical for a touristy cruise. The Captain was pretty funny and insightful when it came to the history and workings of the river. We stayed on the top deck the whole time since we had a pretty good cloud cover and a breeze on the way back. The bar on the top deck did not open as promised but there was one on the deck below. The Captain and staff were all very nice. One great tip from the Captain was to walk down to the JW Marriott and walk through the lobby. They have some dinosaur bones and tusks, they have a chromed dinosaur that’s 133 ft long hanging from the ceiling and lots of cool geodes.

This is a fun, informative, beautiful boat ride, narrated by the captain who uses a lot of humor during his presentation. A must-do in Savannah!
Paul_M, Apr 2026
Nice boat tour that explained a lot about the history of Savana and the river. We even saw a group of 20 dolphins feeding.
Debbie_M, Apr 2026
We were able to see the old Cotton Factory buildings from a great perspective. Otherwise, just a trip up and down the river.
Arja_A, Apr 2026
Great narrative up and down the river. Ship handled smoothly and expertly. Great history and current events lessons. Nautical commentator superb. But fix the short in microphone cable from time to time
Steve_U, Apr 2026
Fun and informative. The narrator was entertaining. Plenty of room for passengers at the rails to see the sites. Refreshments on all levels/decks.

They are from England. They enjoyed it greatly. They enjoyed learning about Savannah. The water was a beautiful day and people with limited mobility. It was perfect

Lovely seeing Savannah from the river and travelling down to the forts. Really enjoyed it. Food and drink on board too.

The guide was very knowledgeable and his narration was precise and
Clear. The trip was great and the distance was perfect.
eugene_m, Apr 2026
We were looking for something to do in the afternoon and thought the riverboat would be nice. With everyone talking and the noise of the boat you could hardly hear the historic narration. We did see a couple of dolphins.
Nelson_N, Apr 2026
Information about the area of Savannah was complete and interesting. Nice smooth ride on the boat. Good weather
Mark_Y, Apr 2026
Great history of the river and Savannah. Smooth ride but top deck had little shade. Still, a very nice, relaxing tour.
Janine_S, Apr 2026
Very nice boat ride down the river. Our tour commentator did a great job, pointing out the sites and explaining the history.
Erin_C, Apr 2026
The boat tour was nice. Staff were nice. We enjoyed the talking points along the way. We would go again.
Rhonda_S, Apr 2026
It was awesome! Narrator was interesting. Worth the money. Fun fun fun. That's really all I have to say about the trip.
Tasha_T, Apr 2026
It was a great time. We learned some history, saw two big container ships, and also dolphins. I would recommend it to anyone. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Exceeded our expectations!
Alison_P, Apr 2026
Nice 90 minute trip on the river with good commentary pointing out interesting facts on boats and buildings en route. Refreshments available too. Can sit inside in air con room or outside on top deck.
Cheryl_B, Apr 2026
This was a nice cruise. Unfortunately the microphone on the ship kept cutting in and out while the tour guide was talking. Also, the best sights are of River street- the other parts of the sightseeing seemed more industrial- not very scenic in my opinion.
Faithful_F, Apr 2026
A relaxing sightseeing journey that takes you for a cruise down the river. Good drinks, nice views, and good narration. I went with my sisters and we appreciated the experience.
Laquetta_J, Apr 2026
An experience that did not happened. I brought me and 4 of my grandkids and rode the Amtrak train so they could have that experience 4 the 1st time, booked the harbour tour so that they could experience a boat ride for the 1st time. We were there on time one of my grandbabies ran ahead of us to ask the young lady at the ‘gate’ if that was the harbour cruise and she stated no it’s the boat down the street, we ran 2 it learned it wasn’t the one, ran b sack 2 tithe sculptural boat, young lady acknowledged that this was the actual boat… she yelled to the captain and the anchor guy that we r supposed to be on the boat, guy stated too late I said r u really gonna disappoint the kids, he told the guy to keep pulling up the anchor… although, I blame the young lady that sent us in a different direction, I thought that captain guy was so cold and heartless, I understand agendas but I also understand compassion.., we are visiting and Savannah was a first, the Amtrak was a 1st n the harbour cruise would’ve been the 1st boat ride for the grand angels… but hey, everything happens 4 a reason..
Marilyn_M, Apr 2026
Casual and AC inside- sunny and shady spots outside. Would appreciate if people talking wouldn’t talk so loudly difficult to hear the speaker.
We couldn’t understand announcements inside level 3
Ron_L, Apr 2026
Savannah city history from the founding father to the revolutionary war , the civil war to modern day.
Amy_S, Apr 2026
This was a nice ride. The history was limited and more about shipping. We didn’t find that extremely interesting. It was something to do and got us downtown but I feel the history was lacking.
Idalia_D, Apr 2026
A trip down the big river to see the modern port and the old fort, sunken ships, and dolphins! We had a great time!
