My husband and I took the 90 minute sightseeing cruise on 6/16/2025. We highly recommend it! We sat on the top deck. Yes, it was a very hot day but they have ample seating with umbrellas and once the boat is moving we got a nice breeze. They do have a deck with a/c that still has good views if you cannot handle the heat up top. Captain Mike did a great job with the tour. Provided a lot of interesting information and incorporated quite a few fun dad jokes to keep it extra memorable. Acacia was working the bar up top and she was friendly and made delicious drinks! My husband had a draft beer and purchased the souvenir glass. Nicely priced at $15.75 for a 20 oz and refills were at $8.25. I had a frozen daiquiri also in a souvenir glass ($15.75 and $6.75 for refills). The glass for this one was insulated and helped to keep my frozen drink from melting too quickly. Acacia was really great!
We did order food half way through. I got the blackened chicken club with fries. It was so good and quite large! I ended up giving half to my husband (reluctantly because it tasted so good - chicken was very juicy)! My husband got the classic grilled cheese with fries. Also very good. The crew was really great and we definitely would recommend this cruise!
My only feedback would be the pictures. They take a photo of your group as soon as you board the ship. Then before the tour ends, they bring the photos around to see if you want to buy the package. I think it included one larger photo and 2-3 smaller ones for about $40. We didn't purchase it because we often do and these end up sitting in a drawer. My advice would be to ditch the package and cardboard frame and offer just a 5x7 or 8x10 for $10. We would have definitely purchased that. I saw many others say no as well. I think you could make more sales offering this option.
I would definitely recommend this cruise. It was a great experience at a great price for the cruise, drinks, and food. Thanks for adding something memorable to our first trip to Savannah!

The indoor windows were cloudy! Couldn't see outside. Elevator was extremely slow. First and second levels were not available. Very noisy. Difficult to hear narration!

The river boat was really beautiful. It was clean and the staff was very attentive. Unfortunately, there really wasn’t much to see. Most of the rivers is filled with container ships. The live narration was very good and not prerecorded. The narrator did his best to point out locations of interest but most of it is about the building construction taking place in Savannah.

It was informative, but not as scenic as I anticipated. Was a nice ride. The on ship bar had delicious drinks and souvenir glasses.
Alan_C, Aug 2026
We had a great time on the river. The Captain’s narration was very informative and at times funny. We unexpectedly got to see dolphins. We definitely recommend this tour.

We took the 3:30p excursion. It was filled with kids running around like they were on a play ground. The sound system was muddled, coupled with people talking loudly were we could not hear anything the tour guide was saying. The popcorn was stale. I would not recommend this boat tour. So disappointed. I did this boat tour on Lake George in New York so I know how wonderful it can be.

It was such a beautiful experience. Like I never imagined how much history was bestowed along the river. This was truly a wonderful experience and hands down should be explored by everyone who enters this city. From the hospitality from the crew on land and sea to the stories and facts shared. This is a must!!

Had a great time. Beautiful boat and scenery. The narration and history were great. Just the right length of time.
Colleen_M, Aug 2026
Overall we enjoyed the ride and narration, but they seemed to run out of seating by the time we got inside. Someone finally gave us seats
Wallace_W, Aug 2026
Embarkation could have went much smoother if they had more than one person scanning tickets considering how hot it was and the line was exceptionally long. Also they should pull people to the side to do pictures because this made for a slow process as well.

Great experience and look forward to do it again someday. Captain was amazing for the 1pm tour. Amazing history of Savannah.
Elizabeth_B, Jul 2026
We appreciated the guide’s enthusiasm and hard work. Unfortunately, the stories at each stop were too drawn out, melodramatic and forced. It took away from the guests’ understanding of historical events and beliefs that created Savannah’s culture of hauntings and ghosts. The tour came off as a little “cheesy.” We quietly left in the middle of it.

While not such a visually-stimulating voyage (muddy waters and lots of industry), the crew did a great job of telling the history of Savannah and the geographic significance of the river. The narrator was excellent and really captured our attention. The indoor quarters were very cool which was pleasant on the sweltering day in July. Also the bartender did an excellent job of keeping the cold beverages pouring. The 90 minute trip was just the right amount of time as well. We also enjoyed the photos they took of us as we boarded.

This was a relaxing enjoyable tour. The paddles were for looks only. The guide was remote for the entire boat.
Robert_B, Jul 2026
Cruise was good but I had difficulty hearing what the narrator was descr;ib;ing. I often did not know which sie of thee baot he was refering to so I had difficulty understanding what he was describing.
Overall a pleasant cruise but several windows were hard to see through.
Don_R, Jul 2026
Interesting cruise. Offered insight into the maritime past and present of Savannah. Narration was excellent. Very noisy inside.
Fay_L, Jul 2026
narrative not really interesting, thought would go farther out for better scenery. I didn't get much out of the cruise.
Rolando_S, Jul 2026
Depending on the season, the floors with air conditioning and good seating are typically occupied. The fourth floor provides open seating with umbrella chairs. The experience was ok, I expected a longer trip. The journey takes you under the bridge and back to a nearby fort before returning to the docking station. It includes a narrative with a brief history of the surrounding area.
gloria_g, Jul 2026
It's a nice, leisure ride up and back the Savannah river. The captain gave great narration and information about the river and it's history. We even saw a dolphin. Definitely recommend.

Chris_W, Jul 2026
Not scary, but fun and interactive. The tour was a good look into Savannah’s history with a connection to the spirits of the past. Great guides!!!
Lina_K, Jul 2026
It was easy and comfortable. The tour narrator was very nice and knowledgeable and the other passengers were pleasant.
jenny_s, Jul 2026
It's a great, fun and interesting tour on the water. Make sure to wear summer attire.
Early arrival gives you a better choice of seating.
Monica_S, Jul 2026
It was very informative. Very family oriented. They were friendly and organized. My only criticism would be that they should disembark check by deck quite a bottle neck when trying to exit!
Tamika_G, Jul 2026
Great Experience!
I enjoyed the drinks, people, and history lesson. Meeting new people on the boat as well was great.
Jennifer_B, Jul 2026
Our tour guide was great! Really brought the book and movie to life!! We even stopped at Carlys for refreshment!!
Edwin_D, Jul 2026
Stay hydrated!!!! The tour was a nice experience with my girlfriend and son! I would recommend staying indoors towards the last 10 minutes of the tour to avoid the sun!
Bonnie_S, Jul 2026
Nice trip with waterside scenery- pleasant, friendly boat crew - relaxing viewing - interesting narration - reasonable price. May be worth a-bit more for a dinner cruise to see Savannah at night (& much cooler)
