We had a wonderful experience! The bikes were comfortable and great quality. The helmets were clean and fit well. Everyone at the shop was extremely helpful and kind. This was an excellent easy bike tour. If you can ride a bike, you can do this tour. Super flat.
Melissa was a superb guide. She was knowledgeable and all lay pointed out many local food favorites.

The guided tour was great fun. Our guide was fabulous and really knowledgeable. We had an earpiece so that everyone in the group could hear what he was saying at all times. He loved his job and really transmitted his enthusiasm about Savannah. We loved it. We could also have used the bicycles all day. Great choice of bike tour, highly recommended.

Excellent guide, learnt so much about the history and was able to see pretty much the entire historic district of Savannah. They also allow you to keep the bikes for the rest of the day which is awesome.

This was one of the best bike tours that we ever have been on. Standard bikes, 2 hours was just right , but the most important feature was Ron, our tour guide. We cannot say enough good things about him- he was patient. kind, and extremely knowledgeable. So many interesting details that made Savannah come alive for us. We really don’t think you need e-bikes- it’s flat and besides, you go slowly to admire the beautiful houses and gardens.
We highly recommend this tour with Ron.

We loved the tour! Terry was terrific! Fun historical facts and easy to follow ride. The ear inserts made it possible to hear all the comments and stories from our guide. The time just flew by.

What an amazing value. Ron was our guide and he knew everything about this wonderful historic place called Savannah. The bike tour was the best way to see this place, and our bikes were perfect. The audio was easy to understand and we had lots of time for pictures and questions. Then getting to keep the bikes afterwards was icing on the cake. We got to ride around for hours, have a great lunch and revisit some of the beautiful spots. This was among the top tours we've ever done. All staff was friendly, Professional and helpful. The tour guide, Ron was excellent! He knew a lot of Savannah history and really took the time to tell the stories and history behind so much of Savannah! The bike store , Savannah on Wheels, was great! Great people and after the bike tour we could keep the bikes all day, great value! 5 stars all the way around!

Great intro tour to the city of Savannah, 100% recommend it as soon as you arrive in the town. You do not need to be a practiced cyclist… the route is very safe (and flat!). Melissa was a great guide and all of the shop’s staff were very helpful. They worked great together as a team.

This was a very slow paced easy ride through downtown Savannah. We stopped at a lot of the squares and learned about the history and famous buildings around the squares.
You get a little ear peice to be able to hear the your guide. The bikes have bags or baskets you can use and water bottle holder for a throw away water bottle.
2 hours felt a little long for me but it was a good tour and I enjoyed the history and keeping our bikes to ride around some more after.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to take the tour due to a flight delay but these guys were nice and gave me a bike for the rest of the day along with a map and some guidance on where to go to get the most out of it. Generally speaking though, biking was a great way to see Savannah. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Excellent tour! Our tour guide Tere was interesting and very knowledgeable! The use of a personal earphone for each rider meant we could easily hear everything she had to say. We felt safe traveling through the streets of Savannah and the option to keep the bikes for the rest of the day was great!

EJ was our guide and he was fantastic! He led us around the city down wide beautiful streets stopping at many of Savannah’s squares and pointing out points of interest. He was full of information about Savannah and had a great sense of humor! Totally recommend EJ! Technically speaking the bikes were high quality and very comfortable. They had a great little one ear listening device that enabled us to hear EJ from wherever we were in the group. Mike was also riding with us to make we got thru intersections safely. The added benefit was we were able to keep the bikes at the end of the tour until the end of the day! All in all a wonderful day! Thank you!

Ron was great! Loves his job and is extremely knowledgable.
Get off the political talk, what is going on in society, and all of the other stuff and just do the tour. It took away from the experience. I wanted a tour, history, and a nice day. Fair at best.

The bike shop was friendly and courteous upon our arrival. Once we started our tour, I liked our knowledge and friendly tour guide Ron. He seemed to really love his job and the city of Savannah. Don’t expect much bike riding, as we did lots of stopping and talking at each historical site. Thr tour was 3 hours.

Outstanding experience; Ron was an excellent guide and historian. Made the tour informational and fun. I had my boys with me, he was also an excellent traffic guide so I felt we were safe. Great way to learn the history of the town and get a little exercise on a lovely Sunday morning!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. The team at the bike store was very conscientious about fitting the bicycles properly. Requests for baskets or fanny packs to attach a bicycle were met with a smile and a rapid resolution.
I appreciated the water station and the bathroom before we began to ride
The ride itself was delightful. Our tour guide, Terri, was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about both the history and modern Savannah.
We had time to see squares on the southern tip near Forsyth park and the northern tip near the City Market
The ride is easy with lots of stops, and even the most amateur rider will be comfortable
If you’re looking for a great way to get introduced to the city, this is a wonderful way to start your trip get your bearings and then go back and visit your favorite sites.

Whenever I visit a new city, I like to book a tour to help us get our bearings for the rest of the trip. It's especially useful in a historical city like Savannah; learning about its history made the experience richer and much more memorable. We purposely took the tour on the first day of our stay, at 9:30 am, so that we could use the bikes for the rest of the day, which was a great deal. We got bike locks and helmets included, and IMO, biking is a perfect way to navigate a small, not-so-busy city like Savannah - you can stop wherever and whenever you like.
Our tour guide was fantastic: so personable and knowledgeable, and he clearly loves Savannah and telling a good story! The amount of ground that we covered and what we learned was impressive.

Very easy to book and manage. Having the bike availability in a city like Savannah was absolutely perfect. The tour was a really solid overview of the city and its historic squares. Not too much history, not a fast pace, just a perfect, steady pace between squares. Plenty of stops to rest and chat. Extremely knowledgeable tour guide Tere, and the time just flew by. Bike locks were easy to use, bikes were easy to use. Just a really perfect biking experience for a family that doesn’t bike often enough: I would highly recommend Savannah on Wheels.
