The experience was extremely disappointing, as the guide spoke at double speed, which diverged sharply from expectations for such a tour. She asked whether anyone was reading Midnight in the garden and without waiting for a response, she continued and consequently spoiled the book we were halfway through.

We also understand your disappointment regarding Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and certainly would not want to spoil the story for someone experiencing it for the first time.
As we shared with your party directly, we were disappointed to learn about your experience and have offered a complimentary tour with a different host, including the option of our daytime historic Bonaventure Cemetery Tour. Our guide was a great storyteller. It was enjoyable to walk around Savannah at night and learn about the creepy history behind the homes and the town. We enjoyed our experience!

Captain Jack the Pirate Prince was absolutely a wonderful guide. He was very detailed and brought every story to life. His personality made up majority of the tour. We definitely loved the tour and made my family’s first tour a memorable one.

Captain Jack was great. My kids (20 and 17) and my husband and i really enjoyed the tour. Pace was good. Great information and the historic district at night was beautiful. Highly recommend

Otto was a wonderful storyist! We had a great time! Also, it's adults only, so no whiny kids! I also appreciated that they provided water. I always bring my own, but it was a nice surprise that they brought some for us. Definitely a wonderful dark history tour!

It doesn’t meet ghost stories and it is long and boring.
You need to be prepared to walk and stand for long time in one place.
There is not transportation to take to better locations.

My sister and I loved this tour from the first stop at Clary’s Café through the winding stories of Savannah’s historic district. Our guide was fantastic — the perfect mix of history, suspense, and atmosphere.
I had a real moment at 432 Abercorn Street when I felt a firm hand on my shoulder, turned around, and saw no one there. Later at Candler Hospital, both my sister and I got sudden stomach cramps — something we didn’t admit to each other until after the tour, which made it even creepier.
We passed places like the Corson Mansion, Mercer Williams House, and Taylor Square, each with its own unsettling history. The whole experience was fun, eerie, and surprisingly emotional. I honestly wish it lasted another two hours. Lady Ravenwood our guide kept our attention the entire time! A fun, eerie, tour! A must!

The host dressed the part and did her best. She needed to try to get more group involvement. She didn't seem believable. She was informative. It just seemed to last a longer time than necessary to visit 5 places.

Great experience for history and true crime lovers. Be prepared to walk fast so wear comfortable shoes. Get there early to find street parking. However, once the tour starts, you will be engaged and will not want it to end.

It does say a walking tour but it’s not a whole lot of walking, so don’t be intimidated. You’ll get to see and know the dark, rich history of Savannah.

Otto was amazing! He was an incredible storyteller with stories I had never heard! It was a good pace and respectful to both the stories and the places themselves. He even got pictures for us! I couldn’t recommend Otto more.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and prepare for the weather. The tour is about. Mike walk and alot if standing. Bring water with you. Prepare for no bathroom breaks in the two hour tour. Our tour guide, Otto was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable of Savannah's history. Otto made the tour fun.

We had to go on the family tour for all ages, because of times, but it was still very good. Lots of interesting stories and the beautiful homes they took place in!
