Our guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. We enjoyed our time with him. My husband and I have been to Savannah before, but appreciated this deeper dive into its history and historic structures. The tour took us away from the tourists and into beautiful and quieter residential streets.

Very interesting tour! I have lived in the Savannah area for about 10 years and done a lot of tours, but I learned so much that I had never heard on any other tour. Highly recommended!

Savannah has such an interesting story to tell through its buildings. If you like history and buildings of the time period this a great tour to take. Our guide was knowledgeable of the different architectural tells of the famous architects who helps shape Savannah. His knowledge of the city's founding and square arrangement was excellent.

Savanna was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and had a genuine and sincere concern for the history of this lovely city.. We have been here several times and have taken several tours and by far she was the most knowledgeable tour guide we have ever had.
Michelle_R, Aug 2025
Kelse was a wealth of knowledge. We learned so much about the architects behind the buildings here in Savannah. It was a hot day, he supplied us with water and we stood in shade whenever possible. If you are an architect, history buff, or architecture fan you will love this tour. My son, a budding architect, and I really enjoyed the tour!
Response from Host, Aug 2025
Thank you for joining us, it's always a treat to have future architects on the tour. We hope you both left feeling inspired!

Fabulous guide- super interesting! Kelsey really knew his stuff and mixed in lots of history and context. The perfect amount of time to get a picture of Savannah’s architectural history.

We ended up with a personal tour with Kelse. He knows his history and architects. He was very open to questions. It was a 2-hour tour, but it felt much longer due to the amount of ground we covered! I would definitely recommend this tour if you also have a love of history and architecture.

I went during Thanksgiving weekend. Excellent Guide, so much knowledge and humor. I love architecture and history. We walked through downtown and I learned so much about Savannah's rich history and mixed styles of buildings. I highly recommend it.

Kelce was an excellent tour guide. Even if you don’t know a lot about architecture, it is a great historical tour that interweaves the stories of Savannah through the architectural lens.
Suzanne_H, Nov 2024
Mike led an outstanding architectural tour of historic Savannah. He was friendly, engaging and a pleasure to listen to . Our tour went long but that was due to his slowing down the pace for the benefit of his participants and fully answering questions. He was very professional and shared his deeply researched knowledge enthusiastically.
Clayton_M, Oct 2024
This was a great overview of the historic buildings. A great tour and I have taken many tours in Savannah over the years. The tour guy was knowledgeable and took his time to answer questions.
Esmargolis1, Sep 2024
We learned a lot about architecture in Savannah and how Savannah’s layout came to be. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. He encouraged questions and freely gave us extra time. He was passionate about architecture and history. I would highly recommend this tour.
Amanda_R, Sep 2024
Wonderful addition to our morning. Mike encourages questions and give them to him because he knows the answers. Questions could be about the buildings or anything else Savannah related. We had a beautiful day to walk and our group was only 8 people. I really appreciate a smaller group tour of 10 or less.
Jody_R, Jun 2024
Mike is a wonderful guide. He’s very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. You can tell that he loves Savannah and its architecture.
