Bonnie was extremely knowledgeable. She obviously is passionate about her city. She also mixed in some good tourist information (dining and shopping locations).
Overall, even though it was a three-hour tour, it passed very quickly. I highly recommend it.

Bonnie was a wealth of knowledge for 3 hours about all that is Savannah. She used her history degree to the fullest. Even with her injured leg she covered the most important arts of the cities history.

Bonnie is a great guide with interesting insights into the history and beauty of Historic Savannah. She walks at a very leisurely pace and talks pretty much nonstop. Except when local construction projects out compete her on their noise. Go ahead and take her tour, it’s time and money well spent!

The first tour of our first day in Savannah was with Bonnie and my goodness did she set the bar high! Our tour ended up being private by sheer dumb luck and Bonnie proved so knowledgeable about every facet of the city. Her love for Savannah is evident and she weaves its history with fun stories and clever quips. The tour is lengthy but broken up with a stop at a delicious cafe. I encourage anyone to start their trip with Bonnie’s tour as it will inform the rest of your trip with much more depth.

The walking tour has plenty of stops to rest and the walk is on flat surfaces.

Bonnie, our walking tour guide, is a Savannah native, and she led us around the Historic District pausing enroute to share her deep knowledge on the city’s founding, its economic and cultural history, its Revolutionary and Colonial and the Civil War history. Attention was given to the slave and cotton trade and many leading citizens past and present. She also covered contemporary Savannah, housing patterns, gentrification, SCAD, etc. We were a group of seniors walking on a warm May morning, so there were many opportunities to sit and hydrate in the shade of the live oak trees. Bonnie’s scope of knowledge was impressive, and she also offered suggestions on museums, restaurants, and unique local shops. Highly recommended.

Bonnie's prodigious knowledge of Savannah's history, especially of the Revolutionary War and Civil War eras, made the leisurely walk around the historic downtown district enjoyable and educational. Her stories of the characters in those histories helped them to come alive in our imaginations. We enjoyed the coffee shop interlude as well!

Bonnie has researched her material very well and presented a comprehensive history of Savannah rather than fluff which is done on some tours. She transitioned smoothly from one topic to another and took us to a fascinating variety of squares. Bonnie also gave us some great food options which we followed up on. The extra hour allowed her to present material in greater depth.

Bonnie gave a good history of Savannah. She was knowledgeable about the sites and also gave good tips for shops and restaurants. The tour was 3 hours which is longer than most tours. Good value for the money.
