It is a walking tour, so be prepared for the elements. We went in August so it was very hot. Sunscreen and bug spray was a must!!b

Such an interesting and informative tour! We had Alex as our tour guide and they were SO knowledgeable and made the tour very fun. It was great to have a guide that was genuinely interested in what they were showing. It is a walking tour and it was in the middle of the Georgia heat wave - so come prepared with water and maybe a fan! There are some shaded spots but some of the tour was right out in the sun. The history of this cemetery is unreal and we had an amazing time and were talking about all the things we learned for the rest of the day. Also - bring good walking shoes! All in all, a 5/5 experience!

The tour was great! It wasn’t a big group but it was nice that way. The tour guide was amazing. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about the cemetery. Next time I visit Savannah, I will definitely be doing another tour. Not just with the cemetery but the other tours provided by this company!

This was such a fun walk through the cemetery. Amanda was an engaging and knowledgeable guide, not to mention super funny! She had a lot of knowledge about Savannah history and great tidbits to share as well as being very open to questions. I had a fantastic time!
Our tour guide was truly amazing and had so much knowledge of history and shared so many interesting stories that made this tour so wonderdul!
Our guide Amanda was very knowledgeable. She had done research on families and individuals buried at the cemetery which made the stories much more intriguing. She was professional and very personable. She took into consideration the needs and slower pace needed for some of the older individuals.

Short 15 min drive with minimal parking. Bring bug spray! It’s a stroll through the cemetery where bugs have ample time to feast on you. Really enjoyed hearing Amanda tell our small group stories about the people who live there.
It was fun to learn the history but I wish I could have got more information. All together it was a nice tour.
Really enjoyed the tour. Lots of interesting and fun information about those who are buried there and the origins of the cemetery.

Highly recommend this tour instead of just visiting the cemetary on your own. A few years back we visited the cemetary on our own and it was SO much better this time. Think of the tour as a walking history lesson. Easy location to meet up and super friendly guide!

Wear closed toe shoes and sun glasses because it is very sandy/dusty. Bug spray would be ha dy because of the sand fleas.
Well done tour with reference to sculpture, imagery and local history. Cemetery in very poor shape and if you have ever been to European or DC cemeteries, you may be disappointed by the very poor upkeep.
This was an excellent historical walk thru a beautiful cemetery. Scott was great. Personable, extremely knowledgeable and kept things moving.
Excellent tour with a historian who provided exceptional background on the meaning behind various elements of headstones, statues, etc. The walking was a casual pace that could work for families with children as well, with plenty of stops along the way.
