Short 15 min drive with minimal parking. Bring bug spray! It’s a stroll through the cemetery where bugs have ample time to feast on you. Really enjoyed hearing Amanda tell our small group stories about the people who live there.

Highly recommend this tour instead of just visiting the cemetary on your own. A few years back we visited the cemetary on our own and it was SO much better this time. Think of the tour as a walking history lesson. Easy location to meet up and super friendly guide!

Wear closed toe shoes and sun glasses because it is very sandy/dusty. Bug spray would be ha dy because of the sand fleas.

Well done tour with reference to sculpture, imagery and local history. Cemetery in very poor shape and if you have ever been to European or DC cemeteries, you may be disappointed by the very poor upkeep.

Excellent tour with a historian who provided exceptional background on the meaning behind various elements of headstones, statues, etc. The walking was a casual pace that could work for families with children as well, with plenty of stops along the way.

The cemetery is an amazingly beautiful place filled with fabulous sculpture and history.
I think our tour guide was relatively new. She provided necessary information and kept the humor to a minimum.
Have traveled with Viator in several cities and usually find the guides to be much more robust in delivering information.

100% worth it. It was so amazing to walk through an ancient cemetery and have a well educated an enthusiastic guide describe the iconography of the monuments. The families who inhabited the graves. And the makers of the monuments. So much was learned and so many new memories made.
