We did an evening tour. History was interesting, furniture was time period correct. Guide was very knowledgeable, my only concern was her trying to scare everyone by pounding on doors or slamming things. With a heighten startle response- I did not appreciate it.

This was an AWESOME experience!!! Darcy, our tour guide, was really great at creating the ambiance and relating the history of Whaley House! Although no paranormal experiences, my husband got a picture that that made you scratch your head and go hhhmmmm. I would love to go again!!! Highly recommend this tour even if only for the historical background.

It was an interesting tour with lots of information and the tour guide Darcy was great. She was very knowledgeable about the history and residents of the house. The museum store was great as well.

It was so good I got to take photos and listen to the guide it was omg fantastic. I took my partner there for the first time and he loved it and so did I been there multiple times so yeah please go

Gentleman Jack gave a great tour! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I knew it would be exciting. He kept our group fully engaged and even told us a few stories afterwards. A must do if you're interested in the paranormal!

Too many people per tour. Felt rushed. Photos allowed, but too rushed to take all you would like. Rooms are small so it was like a game of Tetris in dimly lit rooms. I wouldn’t tell anyone that’s puss a must see while in San Diego. If you’re in old town and you just stumble upon it and there’s not many people there, it’s reasonably priced enough to take the tour, but I wouldn’t say make a special trip. Tour guide, Maud, was articulate and humorous. She did a really good job.

The Whaley House tour was a fascinating and slightly spooky experience! Hunny, our guide, was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the house and the Whaley family, sharing intriguing details and captivating stories. His enthusiasm and engaging storytelling really brought the house to life (and maybe a few spirits!). Hunny was also great at answering questions and made the tour feel personal and engaging. Highly recommend this tour, and if you get Hunny as your guide, you're in for a treat!"

Not enough substance to make it worthwhile. The house has been renovated too much to appear realistic. Certainly not spooky in the least. Disappointed 😞

I legit want to ask Ophilia out just to hear the way they put history and lore in such a small area of time. I have been waiting so long to do this tour, and in my younger years I could not afford it. I spent the dollar and was given a grand show. Xoxoxoxo

Hunny was our tour guide, he was very friendly and informative. It was great to learn about the history of the house and Whaley family. There was a brief question and answer period at the end which was a bonus.
