Tadeo was a great tour guide. They were upfront about the time it could take crossing the border back into the US. I had the best tacos ever, and it was my first time trying tripe. Tadeo was took us to some trustworthy vendors. It was an overall good time and safe, considering I went solo.

Yes,Tijuana!

Raul_C, Mar 2026
First,I have to say, there was some apprehension of going to Tijuana due to recent news. I'm glad we decided to go! Carlos, our guide was excellent!. We got to experience not only great food, tequila and mezcal, but a vibrant city with lots of history. It was a truly enjoyable tour. Note: If you have a Global Entry card, you can avoid the long re-entry line (45 minutes-2 hours)to US by following the SENTRI line.

Day trip

Tadeo was great, very knowledgable. Be warned, you will be expected to cross the border on your own and meet your guide on the Mexico side, it was easy and fast but was not aware.

Great trip

Lenka_B, Dec 2025
Humberto was amazing. Took us to an interesting parts of Tijuana, for tacos, beer, and tequila tasting. We took a public bus and on the way back we were able to see more "shady" places, so if you are going to Tijuana for the first time, definitely take the tour so you can avoid certain areas and feel safer, plus you get a history talk and best view on top of it.

Carlos was a great guide!!

Tijuana in a day

Flower_L, Aug 2025
We had a great time with Humberto. He took us to great local spots in Tijuana. We ate great food, had a tequila tasting, and got a great history lesson on the San Diego/Tijuana boarder. Things to know before you go: bring your passport and cash and wear walking shoes. You will cross the boarder via foot which is faster to get in and out. Getting to Mexico was no wait. Coming back was about an hour unless you have the physical global entry or sentry card.

Don’t take this tour -

Deborah_M, Aug 2025
Terrible customer service and misleading advertising. This is an ALL WALKING tour. There is no transportation as promised unless you want to take public transport. The company is very unprofessional. We arrived at the meeting point early and wandered searching for 45 minutes in the hot sun. No where to sit.none of my texts or calls were returned. Finally just minutes before our “departure time” we get a call and are then told we cross the border alone and meet up with our guide. Very sketchy and we were already exhausted when we find out there is no tour vehicle.

Make sure to have your passport and be ready to stand in line for a few hours to cross back into the US. Humberto was amazing!! He made the experience rememberable.

Great for solo travelers

A very caring tour guide

Camille_T, Jul 2025
Unfortunately, I couldn’t recall the tour guide’s name that was not easy to memorize for me. If the company can add his name in my review, it will be fair for him to receive the credit he deserves. Two things he did for us were very impressive: he purchased extra food for some of tourists after we finished the planned lunch; he paid for us to use the bathroom on the street. He is a tall, young, and handsome man. He had so much energy that we “ran around” on the streets with him. It was a great experience!

Excellent experience.

We wanted to go to Mexico, but were a little worried about safety and knowing where to go, Found this and took the plunge. It was amazing. Easy crossing in, our guide, Carlos, took excellent care of us and we felt safe and in good hands the whole time. Learned a ton about the city and the food (plus just excellent food and drink we never would have experienced.). Would highly recommend this trip if you want to experience a taste of Mexico but don’t know where to start.

Amazing for solo female travelers!

ChiaraNicole_P, Jun 2025
I wanted to go to Tijuana but I’m a solo female traveler; this trip was perfect for me to feel safe and visit Tijuana at the same time!! My guide was Tadeo, he was very nice, funny and explained everything in detail! It was funny to hear all the historical facts and his personal experience as well!

Don’t use this booking company

Ida_A, Jun 2025
Was told that we didn’t need our passport.. just drivers license and ID. Travel all the way to the boarder to be told that we need them. N now they say that since we didn’t have our passport that we can’t get a refund. Very unprofessional. I will never use this to book events again.

Carlos was amazing! He made the tour so enjoyable from the sites we saw, food choices and tequila tastings. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience to share with my sister visiting from Georgia.

Great time until the End

Mya_K, Nov 2024
I enjoyes the tour. Alberto was fun and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, re crossing the boarder took 2.5hours standing in line. Bring the physical Global entry card to skip line. Other Tours can help you get through faster.

Do it yourself. Easy.

david_s, Nov 2024
Firstly the Guides were great. Absolutely nothing wrong with both of them. My issue was the cost. You Didn’t get a lot for what we paid for. Some sweets and a couple of Tacos for lunch. A tequila tasting which you would get anyway if you where interested in buying We only seemed to walk around a couple of blocks around Revolution Street. Single lady on own take the tour. But Couples or more do it yourself. Nothing hard. Get a taxi to Revolution street and walk about then a Taxi back. Very easy. There is even an App to tell you queue times at the border. I parked at palm street station and took the trolley to border as was advised not to park to close to border. All worked out fine. But to clarify Sarah and Andre’s were very good guides. Big limited I. What was there to show you.

Great day down Mexico 🇲🇽 way

Jane_T, Sep 2024
As a solo traveller it was a great way to see somewhere during for the first time. It ticked all the boxes for an introduction to Mexico 🇲🇽

quick trip south of the border

Robert_M, Jul 2024
marisol was a great tour guide. we had fun visiting different nooks and crannies of the city. wait to get back in the US wasn’t too bad

Taste of tijuana

Vincent_G, Jul 2024
Diego was a great tour guide. The tacos and tequila tasting was well organized. The only complaint was ground transportation was misleading. Being Escorted accross border in a bus would have been appreciated. We were dropped off and waited 21/2 hours on a line . Sort of a downer on what was an awesome tour

Great

Tim_B, Jul 2024
Walking the downtown area, tour guide did an excellent job. Very polite and knowledgeable of the city.

Easy introduction to the city

Sarah_F, Jun 2024
Had a great time. Good communication between meet-up who walked us to the border and guide who picked us up on the other side. Humberto was a wealth of knowledge about the history of the city

Resourceful

Tameka_N, Jun 2024
Our Tour Guide Sarah was so resourceful & fun! We learned so much within the tour, she kept us laughing and interested in the tour

A great experience

Kendra_R, Jun 2024
Our tour guide, Sara Newborn was everything amazing. She was professional, yet interpersonalable. She gave us insight on certain landmarks and kept us entertained. She answered all our questions as well. We had the opportunity to learn some history abouy Tijuana and learn the backstory to the arch, taste all types of authentic candy, tequila and tacos. This experience was definitely amazing. I would recommend this trip. Just a lil advise, wear very comfortable shoes. There's alot of walking.

Great day tour

Nita_K, May 2024
Sara was about delight. We had a fun experience. Thank you. We seen a lot and had lunch and tequila tasting of course. My daughter is enjoyed the shopping

Awesome experience

Teya_B, May 2024
Marisol was absolutely amazing! My husband and I had a fabulous time and can’t wait to go back to TJ.

Day well spent

Annelise_S, May 2024
This tour was so much fun! Diego met us and was really engaged getting to know everyone, although he would only be with us a short while to cross into Mexico and then handoff to Humberto. Humberto was great, really knowledgeable about his city and took time to really explain things to us. I felt generally safe the entire time. Tijuana was fun, and all the people we encountered were friendly. Heads up— if you go on a weekend and do not have global entry, you will be waiting 2-3 hours to walk back across due to it being the weekend and more people traveling so plan accordingly! I would definitely recommend this tour and look forward to doing more in the future!

A welcome to Tijuana

Eric_B, Apr 2024
We were well looked after. Diego walked us quickly from our meeting point in the U.S. to the Mexican side of the border where Carlos met us. Carlos shared his knowledge of and passion for Tijuana. Besides buildings both new and historic, we had time to sample tequila, local sweets, craft beer and some delicious tacos. We also had time to purchase a few items to remember our pleasant and informative afternoon. Carlos looked after us well from start to finish. This was a great introduction to Tijuana and northern Baja California.

Teen friendly adventure

Serena_M, Apr 2024
I had been to Tijuana myself a few times but wanted to bring my 14 yo daughter for her first time to Mexico and felt safer having a guide. We walked across the border and had a great day with excellent lunch and my teenager felt safe and well taken care of being in a new environment for the first time. Our guide was great and we saw many great spots downtown.
