We meet at Gate 1 Docks A-D. A map & video directions can be found on our website, you can find that link on your Viator ticket under "Special Instructions." Arrive 20 minutes early so you have time to find the gate. We are unable to hold the boat if your running late.

- This is a shared experience.
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years.
- Each person regardless of age MUST have a ticket due to strict Coast Guard regulations. This includes infants of any age. Extra person's regardless of age that arrive and put us over our passenger limit will be denied boarding.
- We sail as scheduled in the event of light rain.
- We are located at Safeharbor Sunroad Marina, 945 Harbor Island Dr. San Diego, CA 92109. We will meet at Gate 1 Docks A-D
- We cannot guarantee seperate reservations will be on the same boat due to strict coast guard capacity safety rules. to ensure your entire party sails together, only make 1 reservation for your entire group.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers

The Captain was awesome. Laid back and super cool vibe. The weather was nice amd the vibe was great. Nice boat too! It was an intimate setting, great for a small group. Loved it!
Beautiful sunset cruise, we could sit anywhere and the captain got us in perfect position for some amazing photos. He even had some wine which was a nice touch. Would highly recommend!!
A lovely evening on the water. We saw a beautiful sunset complete with the lowering of the colors of the naval aircraft carrier. Captain Aaron provided all the makings of a relaxed vibe.
The sunset cruise with Aaron Berco was AWESOME! He made it so accommodating with adult beverages and just stopping for the right pics. Highly recommend!!!
The captain was kind and knowledgeable it was a small comfortable group. Although, we were advised no food would be provided and we could bring our own, the captain provided water and wine. I felt safe and comfortable.
One thing I’d like to mention is I am a diabetic and during the last 30 minutes of the sail I experienced a sugar drop which could be dangerous for me. I was asking if anyone had any thing sweet, the captain stopped his duties and searched the bottom cabinet to see if there was anything. He also dropped us off at the dock off his usual return route at a nearby restaurant so I could get some food. I really appreciate him being kind, helpful and compassionate.
Overall, my experience with Viator and Captain Skipper was awesome and it was a birthday to remember! Thank you Captain Skipper 😊
Would definitely plan more sailing excursions when in San Diego
Great night with Captain Patrick. He was fun and fully engaged with us. Not a lot of wind but we made a nice trip around the bay.
We felt very comfortable and safe on our cruise. We had 4 people to share the boat with. The Captain was easy to talk with
and very knowledgeable.
She pointed out the Sea Lions and gave us some fun info regarding how they live, what they eat etc.
What a very fun way to get out on the water and experience San Diego from a different angle. Just a very lovely evening sipping wine and sailing enjoying the beauty of the water. We came away feeling very relaxed and happy with our choice.
It was amazing experience. Great atmosphere, romantic views and sunset. Loved this vibe. We took a lot of pictures. Tasted wine, chatted with other guests, leaving friendly note at the end. It was very special time)
Seeing San Diego coast line from the ocean side is good. You spend couple of hours on the water. In Summers this sunset timing is perfect. Captain Derek was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. In the end people make all the difference.
This was such an amazing excursion, highly recommend! The captain was very sweet and knowledgeable and the cruise around the bay was one of the most relaxing experiences ever.
Fantastic experience. Beautiful views, relaxed/chilled atmosphere. Only 6 people. You feel you are sailing with a friend. Complementary glass of white wine. Perfect sunset/afterrnoon.

This 2 hour cruise was so tranquil and peaceful. Our guide Adam was the kindest and humblest man. He really made our sail worth it. To top it off the cruise ended with an unexpected firework show on the navy ship. So cool to see from the water. I would definitely recommend this sail to everyone. Thanks again Adam for being so sweet and generous.

Make sure you get there early in case you have a hard time finding the dock. Great views of downtown and the coast. There was complementary wine and we saw a sea lion! Definitely recommend.

Terrific, personable captain. So, great experience with him. But 3 total sodas and some water for 4 people (we don’t drink alcohol). Bean bags provided so old and worn out that beans were leaking out (fixed with masking tape by captain). Very uncomfortable.

Great relaxing sail wothban experienced captain and minimal guests. It was fun and beautiful. We will definitely try this again and hopefully get another sunset. I like that we went to the point Loma side and not the usual downtown busy area.

Dress warm! The water and air temperature are cooler than you think. With a limit of 6 passengers it's a cozy ride. A chance to converse with others who are probably from far away. The captain knows the boat well and is very capable of sailing it alone. They provided wine (and snacks I think). City skyline is beautiful and several interesting sights to see. It was a good time!
