We had an awesome time with Jason! The boat was clean, well-maintained, comfortable, and stocked with snacks and beverages. We all felt at ease with Jason who was very knowledgable and professional. The ride was smooth and we got some beautiful views of San Diego. It was the perfect way to celebrate my sister’s bachelorette. I couldn’t recommend this experience enough!

Our arrival to San Diego was delayed but we were so lucky to still make our confirmed plans out in the water. Jason and Lucky Sol were exactly what we hoped to enjoy the views, hospitality, and weather on our family trip. Traveling with 16, 5, and 2 year kiddos can be tricky but this was a perfect family vacation activity! Thank you

A must do experience while visiting San Diego or a local looking for a unique sailing experience. The boat was extremely nice, very comfortable and equipped with all the essentials you’ll need. Our guide was also extremely knowledgeable about nearby historical landmarks, enhancing our overall experience. Would recommend to friends and family! Thank you for hosting us!

Very friendly for my family with small children! Brett and his first mate were extremely kind and welcoming. They let my kids steer the boat and had plenty of snacks. Highly recommend! We saw lots of sea lions.

We had the BEST experience with Lucky Sol Sailing! I planned this outing for my best friend's bachelorette party, and it was the perfect way to relax and celebrate. We were able to bring our own drinks and music/speaker, and there was plenty of room for the six of us to spread out on the deck and move about the boat. Our captain was SO friendly and accommodating. I cannot recommend this charter enough if you are looking for an enjoyable afternoon on the water.

Great time on the bay. Could not have been easier to set up, park, find Jason, and sit back and enjoy the afternoon. Great for families with teens. We also had grandparents with us. They especially enjoyed it since they are from out of town.

Just OK nothing special. Way too expensive for the experience Not fair to blame the fact that there was no wind and therefore no sailing but nothing offered but water and a bag of chips. Captain didn’t offer anything for the experience, very little conversation

Hi Diane, Thanks for the feedback. We're so sorry that you didn't enjoy your sail. We do our best to make sure our customers have an enjoyable and memorable experience. Although our prices are very competitive, I understand that it may be expensive for those on a tight budget. Still, we feel the prices are very fair for a private charter of a sailboat which can accommodate up to 6 guests. You're correct. As with any outdoor activity we can't control the wind, clouds, or rain. I really wish we could because when conditions are ideal it gives our guests the best experience possible. San Diego offers some of the best conditions year round giving customers excellent odds of having great weather. I'm sorry there wasn't much wind for your sail. Our provisions are limited to bottled water, sodas, and snacks but guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverage including alcohol. If you'd like to give us another opportunity to show you the experience that has been expressed in so many of our 5 star reviews we would be more than happy to offer you a significantly discounted rate on your next sail.
