Do yourselves a favor and book with Captain Phil! Gorgeous boat and gorgeous scenery with several sea lion sightings. Phil is super chill and provided a very relaxed and fun evening with ample drinks and snacks.

Philip was great. The itinerary wasn't well described and only included a couple slow laps around the bay, no ocean sailing/sunset or sailing description/instruction.

We had a perfect day aboard the Liberty. With knowledgeable and capable Captain Philip at the helm, we got to see many of the sights of San Diego Bay - all without the noise of a motor. Philip is a wealth of knowledge about the area and about sailing. The trip as a wonderful afternoon, worth every penny we spent, and we are planning to book a other trip with him in the future.

Phil was very helpful explaining the safety features and what to expect to keep everyone safe. He was knowledgable about the bay and the surrounding points of interest. His hospitality was generous and the boat comfortable even for older bones. Definitely a field trip worth repeating for the whale watch and the sunset cruise.

Total Relaxation!! Captain Philip was very knowledgeable of the area and an entertaining host. Tour of the harbor and sights were fantastic!! This yacht was in great shape and very comfortable!! We were in such a cool place and enjoyed ourselfs on this wonderful tour! Having just 4 people on board was just perfect! Even 6 would still give everyone an enjoyable experience!! Captain Philip met us at the dock on-time and this was a professional excursion!!

Sailing around the San Diego bay in the Liberty sloop was very relaxing and the sights were beautiful. Captain Philip is very courteous and amiable, and happily engages his guests in all sorts of dialogue with a sincere smile.
Forget those impersonal bay tours on crowded boats. Spend a little more and experience the bay as it should be--on a classic sailing vessel captained by an experienced and friendly sailor.

Wonderful sailing experience around San Diego bay. Captain Philip was very hospitable and offered snacks and refreshments for our afternoon sail. He also shared information about the Bay Area as we were in town visiting.
Would highly recommend for a quiet and peaceful afternoon sail if the loud and crowded “party boats” are not what you seek.

Amazing time with captain Phil! He was so knowledgeable about all things sailing so we feel incredibly safe, but he was also really knowledgeable on the local area and kept it very entertaining. Was lucky to end up with just my dad and I as passengers. It was a great tour around the bay with sea lions and even a dolphin sighting. Captain Philip was really laid back and had a lot to share about the area and sailing. Would highly recommend.

Captain Philip was great. He was very relaxed and informative about all of the local surroundings. My husband and I went with our great friends and there was one other couple there. All 7 of us turned out to be around the same age with adult kids and a lot in common.
It was a little chilly on the water but the sun was out and it was beautiful. We laughed a lot and had a wonderful time.

We had a fabulous 2 hour sail through the San Diego harbor. The day was bright and warm with a strong wind so we did “heel” quite a bit which was exciting. captain Phillip was nice and welcoming made us comfortable throughout the tour.
