We had a lovely time painting with Guido in the Piazzale del Museo Borghese! Guido is a phenomenal artist! He provides all the supplies and encouragement to paint several masterpieces. A great way to slow the day down and take it all in. Be sure to ask Guido about his dog and daughters!

Where to begin. Not only did we get a taste of Italy and their most beautiful park, but we also learned valuable skills in the art of watercolor. Were we novices? Yes. But Guido was so patient, kind, and we learned every step with his attentive help. If you want a fun time with extraordinary company, Guido is your guy. 10/10 would do again.

Even though we had a hard time finding each other,Guido made every effort to find me and make sure I had a positive experience. We chatted and painted all afternoon. We were pleasantly interrupted by curious onlookers who only enhance the experience of being in the Villa Borghese. Guido is very talented and gently modeled by example. He shared some of his art, as well as some of others who had painted with him. It was a unique experience and one I would do again.

The class was fun and relaxing at the same time. I learned a lot about watercolor in a short time and left feeling more confident. My mother-in-law who is a watercolor painter and I joined Guido on a private experience of the Villa Borghese. She loved the experience painting fountains situated in a beautiful setting of the Borghese park. Guido is very talented artist that was could work with anyone who does or does not have experience with drawing and/or watercolor. Guido is a great teacher, and conversationalist. I was so absorbed in learning new techniques of looking and painting Roman garden decorations and stoneworks the time flew. Guido introduced techniques bit by bit and gave wonderful feedback. I had a restorative afternoon away from the hustle & bustle.

What a fantastic day with Guido and Ollie. I was exceedingly luck as it was 1-1 as no one else booked. A lot of tours would have cancelled due to not enough bookings but not Guido. He is passionate about painting and passing on his knowledge to others Would quite happily go out painting with Guido any time he is very encouraging and has a great sense of humour dispite our language barriers but this did not hamper a great day. Would highly recommend Guido.

Guido was a very good teacher and facilitator. He walked us all around the gardens, stopping 3 times to paint. So much fun slowing down and taking in our surroundings and being creative!!

If you're looking for a break from the crowds, and something a little different than touring various historic sites, this is the perfect activity! I spent a relaxing morning with Guido, at the Villa Borghese, while he sketched, then I painted the sketches. I also did a little sketching on my own. I enjoyed watching everyday people walking their dogs, biking and jogging through the beautiful park. It was a fun and relaxing way to unwind and connect with nature and art.
