Our host was Sara and she was just great. Really down to earth and easy to talk to. I really liked that the tour was out of Rome a bit because it gave you a chance to see a different side of Rome. The food was amazing and we were definitely full by the end of the tour. Would definitely recommend this tour to others visiting Rome.

They didn’t show up and after I messaged them they apologize due to some technical difficulty and further they said if they would’ve seen it, they would’ve told me to come earlier!!!!!

Sara was a great tour guide, very informative and knowledgeable. She talked us through the history of Testaccio, the history of Rome and what to look out for when choosing food to eat. Very handy since we had only landed in Italy the day before. All the food on the tour was great, didn't need to eat after the tour because there was so much food! Only thing that disappointed us was the thought of the food we couldn't finish going to waste!

The food on this tour was very good, a nice variety and all high quality. The tour took us through the Testaccio neighborhood on a nice walk. The guide was underwhelming. He didn’t give a lot of information about the food and had a very low key personality. He responded to questions when asked but didn’t volunteer much at all. It felt like he was going through the motions, and it ended 30 minutes early. We were a small group of four which was nice.

Our guide was late. Not the perfect start. He said he could not park. We were only 4 so that was nice.
The food was amazing and the places we went interesting. I would have liked a little local history along with the food. I have done several food tours and that was always included.

This food tour was great, definitely no shortage of food! There is a big range of food for everyone's taste buds. We had 30 min of free time during it which was well needed to let food settle. We loved that we were the only 2 in the tour, was more personal.

This tour was fantastic! Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this very highly, but come hungry!

A good introduction to food and markets in Rome. I have done this tour previously - did not find this time quite as good as lots of the previous tour had been removed. However, we had an excellent tour guide and what we did see was excellent. Lots of food tastings so highly recommend you don't have breakfast before the tour. And opportunities to purchase products to bring home with you.

Nice tour, very generous food portions. Ate till my stomach almost exploded!

Really enjoyed the places that we went to on this walk. Great way to see how the locals live away from the tourist areas of the centre of Rome

We enjoyed the tour with our guide, he gave us a good insight to a variety of food and the history about the food and everything was very good tasting.

Highly recommend a food tasting tour as a way to explore other areas of Rome that as a tourist with limited time and knowledge, you often don't see. We had a small group of our five plus another couple, and our guide Nina was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and really made an effort to spend time with and chat to every person in the group. The only slight disappointment was the restaurant we went to for lunch, which was not our choice but one arranged by the tour operator. The owner made it fairly clear to us that he didn't really regard our group as worth spending too much effort on, and gave our table a half finished bottle of wine, telling us we could drink the wine out of water tumblers....a small complaint in the grand scheme I know, but it was a jarring note in an otherwise very enjoyable day. The only thing I would suggest to the tour operators is that they find another restaurant I'm not naming the restaurant, but you know who you are!!, but Nina was terrific. We had a great day and the chance to see a part of Rome which is very much off the tourist trail was wonderful.

Holly was awesome - she had a ton of knowledge to share about Rome, the Testaccio neighborhood, and food and wine. The tour was very delicious and a TON of food. I would definitely recommend the tour...make sure to come hungry!

A good opportunity to visit some great foodie venues you would not otherwise find. We had a very small group only 3 people, which was nice. Definitely bring your appetite, there is plenty to eat on the tour!

Wonderful wonderful tour. It says small group, and we got small group alright - it was just us, the three of us, which worked out fantastically! Our guide, Holly if I got it right was so sweet and patient and full of knowledge of the food and the lesser known history of this lesser known neighborhood. We started out going to the wrong place to meet, but she offered to come to where we were to meet us, which was a great help since we would probably have gotten lost trying to find it.
We visited a local market that has almost everything under the sun, food and not food. We got to try some not so common touristy food items, which were excellent and very tasty a particular cheese that is in the same family as mozzarella.......gosh I wish I remembered its name!!.
The wine tasting gave us plenty to drink, and the food samples........abundantly available and all for the taking. Please DO NOT eat breakfast before you go, because you will need all the room in your stomach to take it all in. Desserts were amazing two stops just for that. You really can't go wrong with this tour.
One last note is that because we had such a small group it just happened to work out this way, Holly was able to give us extra time in a shop that allowed me to purchase some really really good cheese, olive oil and truffle salt to bring home. I really appreciate all of her patience and help with that. It was not part of the planned itineary. All in all, we highly recommend this tour!

Absolutely the BEST food tour in Roma! It is outside the city center, but so easy to get to the meeting point via the metro. We toured in the Testaccio neighborhood of Rome, quaint and ever so friendly. The food was divine and Holly , our guide, was so much fun! We will never forget the tiramisu , buffalo mozzarella, pizza, pasta, vinegar, truffles, suppli, meats and cheeses, wine and gelato!! You MUST book this tour! I wish I had more stars to rate it!

This food tour was a lot of fun. It was a nice small group filled with great food and our guide was great. Would definitely recommend!

An excellent tour, which gave us many more food tastings than we expected. The guide was brilliant - knowledgeable and personable female, sadly can't recall her name as she deserves credit for her guiding. We were originally intending to book on another of your Rome food tours, for which we'd seen good reviews, but it was full/unavailable on our date. We feared that 'off the beaten track' might be second best, but it certainly wasn't - it was brilliant. If this is a sample of your tours we'll certainly look you out for future destinations

A perfect tour, led by Holly, an amazing and knowledgeable guide. The tour allowed us time to ask questions, experience delicious foods and learn about the visited areas of Rome. We stopped at a beautiful shop with cappuccino, croissant and tiramisu. Having our names put onto the top of our cappuccino cream was such a nice touch. The next stop allowed for tasting rice balls with mozzarella and tomato sauce, salted cod and some pecorino which was a great lead-in before tasting two kinds of pizza. Visiting the open air market to taste test several types of Italian ham, mozzarella, cannoli and a taste of white wine with biscotti was a treat. The creme de la creme was going to Perilli for two types of pasta dishes, bread and wine and then off to Giolitti for some much needed gelato. This was truly a great tour that was made amazing due to Holly. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome. Definitely a day to remember.
