- You will need to pass through strict and mandatory security checks to enter the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Expect to wait 5 to 45 minutes to clear the security checks
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Trolleys and large backpacks are not allowed inside, neither are glass/metal bottles or sprays (e.g. perfumes etc.)
- Pets are not permitted
- Travellers younger than 18 years old must present a valid document or proof of ID
- You must be at the meeting point 30 minutes before the tour starts to complete the sign-up. We won't be able to accommodate late arrivals
- The Roman Forums and the Palatine Hill are not wheelchair accessible
- This tour is subject to inclement weather conditions. If it is cancelled you will have the option to either reschedule or get a full refund
- Drones and knives of any kind are strictly forbidden at the monuments
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 25 travelers

The staff of TOURIKS went above and beyond
for us, meeting and helping us navigate the largely unaccessible area to reach our tour group. As promised, the Colosseum will be extremely crowded with uneven surfaces. A wheelchair visitor should travel with helpers. Our guide patiently and cheerfully led her group of all ages and strength levels through multiple levels of the arena. Beautiful views. We didn’t have to wait in line at all. Our tour guide took us around and shared all the facts. After the tour we were able to roam around freely.

REALLY A SCAM! We hired the tour with a guide in Spanish and 7 days before they informed us that the guide will not be available and that the tour will be exclusively in English. Language is essential to understand a tour! They charged us the full amount and did not make any refunds. The answers they gave were really those of a scammer, they never bothered to find a solution. Contract with another company, with VIATOR, never!

Our guide was very knowledgeable but the experience was dulled due to bad audio equipment. I missed 2/3 of what he was saying. Added to that he spoke very fast in broken English, so my brain was working overtime trying to get what he was saying. In this case you might be better off reading about it and going on your own.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. We learned a great deal from his knowledge of Roman history. However, the coordination between the tour company with the colosseum staff was a little shaky. It took extra time for our guide to get that sorted out. Also with such a high demand on entry, it was difficult to find a tour to match our wants and interest.

We are on a Mediterranean cruise and I scheduled 9 excurrsions through Viator. I have completed 8 of these tours. I've completely enjoyed all the tours except one. Please read my reviews. This tour of the Colosseum was original scheduled at 10:45. I bought train tickets so I'd have plenty of time to attend this tour. Three days before the tour the operator changed the time to 10:00. As my arrival time was 9:36 I still had time to make the tour, if I hussled. My train was delayed so I didn't arrive till 10:06. It was impossible to make the tour, but still could have made the original time. Since it was no fault of mine that the schedule was changed, I requested a refund. It was refused. If you're in the market for a tour where the schedule could be changed at the drop of a hat, this is the one for you.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! we paid 212.00 for the 2 of us for a tour that lasted at the most 45 minutes. We did NOT even do the Roman Forum as advertised nor skip the line at palatine hill. Contacted your operator and they stated " the guide said all went as planned". Planned for her as she had another tour to do at the Vatican and quickly dismissed us. Do yourself a favor do NOT use Viator for a guided tour of the colosseum -you could easily take 5 minutes and get more information off google. Wish we had known and could have saved ourselves 212.00. We should have been given a partial refund but the tour operator dismissed us as quickly as the guide did.

We LOVED Gabriele. He was an amazing tour guide that really brought to life the Colosseum and what it looked like back then! He really immersed us in what the Romans experienced while being entertained. We appreciated his enthusiasm and helpfulness throughout the whole tour!

Helena was fantastic! We were a group of six and it was incredibly hot. She kept us in the shade as much as possible, which we greatly appreciated. Helena clearly has a passion for the subject and it made for a great tour. An hour and fifteen minutes was the perfect amount of time to allow us to move on to other sights - although we would’ve gotten a lot more out of the Forum and Hill if we’d had her with us!

This was a 3 hour tour that felt like 45 mins. It was a very small group, and our tour guide, Eddy, was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. He answered questions,and provided a wealth of information. This was one of our favorite tours. Well worth every penny!
