We had purchased 4 tickets for the night underground colosseum tour and 24 hours before our tickets for entry were cancelled. We now know that Just because you have purchased a ticket it doesn’t mean you are assure entry.

Hi Sharon, as explained in direct message, we couldn't not host you because you didn't provide the names of your traveling party. Each entry ticket to the Colosseum must be assigned to an individual, and because you didn't provide the required information, we were unfortunately unable assign your entry tickets and host you. The tour departed as scheduled with the other travelers.

Potentially Overpriced and Misled Tour Description

The tour was broken up into two parts, a stroll through the streets leading up to the Colosseum for the first hour and half. This part was informative but not advertised. Some of the areas we reviewed had placards that provided details of what we were already looking at. This portion of the tour was uneventful. Once we arrived to the Colosseum the tour leader handed us off to a new Colosseum guide to continue the tour. This part was extremely valuable as it covered the exact narrative referenced in the tour description but was for a little over an hour. We were disappointed and were mislead that the Colosseum tour would be for the full 3 hour duration. Also not happy with the technical audio challenges that cut into the time. I do believe that the tour activity should be better written to include the walking portion so people won’t feel misled about the tour before booking. I believe there may be better valued tours to choose from that are of the Colosseum only for the 1.5 hour duration. A little overpriced and misleading tour description.
