Fantastic night tour! We were taken through back alleys and found hidden gems all around the city. Tour guide very knowledgeable and shared interesting history tidbits throughout the tour. It was cold and driver had blankets for us. Dress warm.

A fantastic way to see the city. The golf cart took us to places we might not have seen and the tour is magical in the dark. There was a light rain during our tour, but the golf carts were covered, so it was perfect. Our tour guide was fantastic (it was even one of our friends 2nd time on this tour with the same guide and she said she saw different sites) and he kept the tour moving so we could see maximum views.

The tour would have been a 5 rating if not for the meeting point mix up. Do NOT rely on Google Maps! Thank goodness the tour guide contacted us via email to let us know he was in front of McDonalds next to the Metro station. Fantastic history and interesting stories shared at monument s and rising along the way. Excellent job!

Would highly recommended, my wife and I were very enjoyed this tour very much. We also learned a lot of new things and saw a lot different things we probably wouldn’t have in the short 3 days we were in Rome.

Very knowledgeable! My son is a history major and throughly enjoyed himself. It did go on till after midnight and we had another tour at 8am. Not wise on my part. It was the perfect start to our Rome visit. Touched on all the major sites. Beautiful at night and smaller crowds.

A fascinating tour led by a very knowledgeable, friendly guide. This was a great introduction to Rome and as it was quieter in the late evening there were fewer tourists at the popular sights.

The nighttime golf cart tour is a fantastic concept. Comfortable temperatures, smaller crowds, better access to the sights with closer proximity for parking, with advantages of our access to our very knowledgeable guide. Educational, informative and entertaining! We loved it!

This tour was amazing! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable. You could tell he wasn’t just reciting a script, but really appreciated the wealth of history. We did the 10:00 tour and were able to get so close to things and have hardly anyone else in our pictures. Rome should be seen at night!

Awesome tour. The tour guide was very patient with us as we were 10 minutes late for the tour. He accompanied a special pick up for us and continued with a great introduction to Rome. We were able to get great photos of popular sites without the crowds.

The highlight of our trip to Rome! I’m sooo glad we booked this tour one of our first nights. My teens and I got a complete overview of the city and Elaphas kept us all entranced with his story telling and breadth of history knowledge! A total side is that he also doubled as area expert and photographer, helping our family get photos together at the perfect spot to see the views! Take a nap before you go! It was absolutely magical to be exploring Rome in the middle of the night without traffic or heat! So many tours I book, it’s with a group and you don’t know which of the guides you will get. This is a one man show and you are guaranteed the best! Any guide that can keep both my active 13 year old and archeology loving husband equally engaged deserves a gold star! You won’t regret your time exploring Rome!

The golf cart was a unique way to access the sites but was actually very hard to see the city. Sitting in the back seat facing backwards is not good

You mentioned not being able to “see well” during the tour, which left us a bit puzzled, as our open-air golf carts are designed to offer panoramic visibility far superior to enclosed vehicles. That said, we did notice your seat was in the last row, which faces backwards — a common feature in all extended golf carts. Some guests actually prefer that perspective, as it offers a wider, less obstructed rear view, just a few seconds behind the front seats.
We’re sorry if the backward-facing seat wasn’t to your preference, though the sightseeing experience remains the same for all passengers — just from slightly different angles.
