A strict dress code is enforced within the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Shoulders and knees must be covered for both men and women. Short skirts or clothing revealing bare shoulders will not be permitted

While our skip-the-line tickets expedite entry, you will still need to pass through airport-style security checks, similar to those at airports. Please allow extra time for this process

All participants must provide their names exactly as they appear on the ID they will present upon arrival. Tickets are nominal and non-refundable, meaning that the name on the ticket must match the ID shown at entry. Providing incorrect names or using a name that does not match the ID may result in denied entry, as this is a requirement set by the venue. Please double-check and confirm the accuracy of the names to ensure a smooth entry experience.

Please note that Vatican Museums skip-the-line tickets are subject to availability. The actual entry time may be scheduled up to one hour before or after your selected time. We will always aim to secure the closest possible time slot.

During Sede Vacante, the Sistine Chapel may close without prior notice for the Papal Conclave. Access is not guaranteed, and no refunds will be provided for such closures.

Restoration work on Michelangelo’s The Last Judgment will take place in 2026. The Sistine Chapel will remain open, but scaffolding may partially or fully obstruct the altar wall. No refunds are issued for restoration work, scaffolding, or unannounced closures by the Vatican.
