Your tour meets at the Fat Tire Tours office, located at Via dei Delfini 35/36, 00186 Rome. We are located about 150 meters from Piazza Venezia (a 5 minute walk) and 1.5 km from the Colosseum (approximately a 15 minute walk). Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure.

Your nighttime Segway tour starts in central Rome, where you meet your guide for a safety briefing and training session. With the ability to cover more ground than a walking tour but still allowing you to be outside to admire Rome’s many sights, a Segway tour is the ideal way to explore a city with so many must-see attractions.
When everyone is ready, take off through Rome’s elegant squares and streets with your guide, who tells you stories and interesting facts about the city throughout the tour. Stop by Piazza Navona, one of Rome’s liveliest squares, and see the Temple of Hadrian and the ancient Pantheon.
Continue to the Spanish Steps, bustling with evening activity as locals and tourists make their way to dinner or drinks, and visit the Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi), one of the city’s most photographed attractions. Your tour then ends with return to your starting point.

Nico was very knowledgeable and was able to very easily teach my wife and I to ride a Segway! It was the highlight of our trip! Not only did we hit tons of places that we would have never have had the time to go on our own but we went there at a time of night that was not crowded and we were able to get great pictures! We have already recommend Nico and this tour to everyone, during our trip and now at home!

You need to do this! We had the BEST time with our guide Alessandro. He was so knowledgeable and made the night so fun. He watched out for our safety, and told us so many interesting things about what we were seeing, as well as giving us a bit of time to explore and take pics. Segways are easy and fun to ride, and this tour was the highlight of all the tours we took! Andiamo!!!

What a great way to wrap up a holiday. We spent 3 days exploring Rome and last night we got to see the city lit in all its glory. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the city, was extremely kind and helpful getting us comfortable on the segways. If you ar looking for a fun evening activity this is it for sure

Segway Rome.
Matt was an excellent guide. He had great stories and Rome at night was gorgeous. We really enjoyed going into St Ignacio’s church at night. Plenty of stops to take photos at some icon locations.

Our guide Stefano was great. He shared his passion for the city as we toured around. Night Time Segway was great as there was less traffic and crowds. The virtual reality piece at one of the stops was really cool. Everyone had the same Oh Wow reaction.

Alessandro, our guide, was amazing. He took the time to make sure every one of us was comfortable with driving the Segway. DO NOT be afraid of driving the Segways - you will be comfortable on them within 10 minutes. If you struggle, the guide will have you drive close to them. This is a fantastic experience and a great way to see many of the fountains and squares in Rome. You will not regret it!

Our guide Alisandro was just amazing. Probably the BEST!! Liv also was very helpful.
First they teach you how to drive Segway very patiently. And they start.
One of us had difficulty with Segway, he was very very patient and took care of the person through the trip. He was very careful at each crossings & we felt we were very safe.
First of all, Segway itself is amazing experience. On top of that Rome at night is so beautiful. Alisandro even surprised us with VR model of the stadium that presided at Navona Square & explaind details/history of each place.

Alejandro was an amazing guide! Teaching the five of us how to operate Segways took almost no time at all, and then we were on our way. He kept us safe around traffic and gave us some great stories and information at various sites. Would recommend this tour, and especially Alejandro, to anyone looking for a different way to see Rome at night.

I was terrified of being on a Segway, and even more so when we had to cross motor roads but Alessandro held on to my Segway most of the time which made it really safe. You don’t just pay to get to see Rome in a condenser period of time but also to use the Segway. How fun! Two thumbs up!!

Though my wife and I had never been on a Segway before, our tour guide was very patient and helpful in getting us comfortable using it. Once we got comfortable with operating the Segway, we truly enjoyed being able to traverse through the streets of Rome with it and learned a lot. Great tour and well worth the cost!

This was a perfect way to see Rome. The streets were quieter and you could see a lot more in a shorter space of time but also stop to admire them far better than a bus tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we had a lot of fun on the segways. One of the high points of my time in Rome.
