Late plane but still saw it all!

Our tour guide Chris was amazing! Our plane was very late. He waited and checked on us while we worked through the delay and getting our bags. We were off and running as soon as we hit the car. With his experience and knowledge we were still able to see all of the sights in Rome with our very limited time.

Did not go to Spanish steps or Trevi Fountain as advertised

Excellent Tour of Rome!

This was an excellent tour! Our guide met us at the airport on time and we were able to see everything we wanted to see in the short timeframe we had. We stopped at all the major sights in Rome, including the Colosseum, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, Pantheon, St Peter’s square and many more. Our guide was helpful and informative and we really enjoyed this tour. Afterward, we were dropped off at port in time to board our cruise. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has limited time and wants to get a quick overview tour of Rome.

John our tour guide was amazing. We told him what we wanted to see and let him do the rest! He was educational but not boring and took us to the best view points off the beaten track. Exceptional in every way. He dropped us off at the boarding point for our cruise. Highly recommend it.

We 100 recommend using Viator. Once booked and we received outstanding service from Viator and Rome Driving Tours, as well as from our driver. This was our 1st trip to Europe and I had many many questions that were answered promptly and courteously. Our flight arrived in Rome at 8am and we had to be to our ship by 3pm. With much correspondence back and forth, and invaluable advice, we were able to see our top sites in our limited time. Max was our driver and he was right there when we walked out of the airport. We jumped in his Mercedes and were off to see the wonderful sites of Rome. He spoke fluent English and guided us through the Sistine Chapel. With our limited time and Max's wealth of knowledge of the Vatican, we were able to navigate our way through it without getting too lost, otherwise we would probably be still there! What a wonderful experience! I read several online reviews before booking our trip and you are always skeptical if they are true. This is the real deal, I have kept the contact information to share with our friends and family and would book through Viator over booking through the cruise line. I also shared our Viator experience with fellow cruisers who, like me, have been hesitant to book outside the cruise line. I am so glad we ventured outside our comfort zone. Thanks Max for your hospitality, sharing your beautiful city with us and for giving us an exceptional experience!! Thanks to Viator for making the process so simple to book!

We had a private van that was like new, our tour guide/driver Palo? was fantastic ! His knowledge of the city and it's history was amazing. We saw not just the typical sights but many off the circuit and learned about things you'll never see in the history books. Great stuff, only way to really see Rome.
