Very unorganized and frustrating check-in. One guy with a cell phone trying to check-in scores of people surrounding him. Total chaos. The only plus was that we avoided the huge lines and got into the Pantheon right away.

The guide NEVER came at 10:30 at spot to meet !!! We had to call customer service. Another guide for another tour helped us!! Bad business! Then we had only one audio for Pantheon and I had to buy audio at Pantheon. Don’t give me lame excuse!! Guide should have told us how both of us could have audio on phones!! I want money BACK!!
Then tour at Colosseum was also bad! I wrote review and some incompetent person answered I sholhave chosen another language. I am am English teacher and have been for 30 years!! The guide at Colosseum spoke too fast and was more interested in spitting out information then really giving it in a normal speech rate! The tour was Mon Dec 22 at 10:30!! Then you offer lame discount!

The company booked our tour during a Mass and the Pantheon is closed on Sunday mornings. Guide never showed up. We lost our money.

The meeting point was unconventional as it was just one man sitting in front of a phone booth. It seemed a bit sketchy at first, but it was nice to skip the longggggg line. Also, our audio guides on our phones didn’t work and we weren’t told to bring our own headphones. Lastly, they said there were some sort of “delays” on the day of our tour and we were rescheduled twice.

Quick tour - audio was good you definitely learn something that you might miss on your own . It was very busy you should book a tour and reserve a time or you could be in a long line . Our tour was at the very end of the day and they were turning people away who did not have tickets or reservations.

We had an audio guide Skip the Line escorted entry with TRIPUO for the Pantheon. We got completely lost and arrived at 1:15 for a 12:30 timed entry. We assumed we would have to forfeit our entry; however, the TRIPUO guide saw us and not only escorted us straight into the Pantheon; he also helped load the audio into our phones and made sure everything was working properly before we entered. We were so appreciative and highly recommend TRIPUO!

Skip the line tickets for the win! The lines were very long. We forgot headphones for the audio tour they give which was completely on us but there is a lot of information you can read inside. We actually showed up 30 minutes before our slot and they just let us in right away. Would recommend.

For a site like the Pantheon, I think the self guided audio tour works. Staff were exactly at the meeting point and on time. Biggest benefit is the skip the line entrance and then you move at your desired pace.

BEWARE:
Viator strikes again.
This is not a guided tour. This is an audio tour. You guide yourself. When you show up to get your tickets, some kid gives you your ticket and get you access through the “skip the line “which is all BS. Don’t even bother. Buy your tickets at the pantheon itself. Get yourself an audio guided tour and walk-through on your own.
Bring your iPods or earbuds, otherwise you’ll be walking around on speakerphone looking like an idiot.
Viator does this all the time. Very deceptive. I’ve had trouble with them in every country I’ve ever used them in. Not worth your money.

Do not book any tours on the 1st Sunday of the month. The tour company will confirm your booking and then cancel at 12pm on the day of. The Pantheon is free on the first sunday, which I was aware. But I booked a skip the line ticket hoping that the tour would be able to get me into the Pantheon at the designated time slot booked without the long line. If it was not an available option on the booking site, I would've arranged my tours on different days.

For a self-guided tour it was quite good.
The end of the day was rather quiet which helped to really absorb the magnitude of the building. Take the time to start the audio outside and follow along for the full experience.
