Trips with my grandchildren

I have been taking my 6 grandchildren on a trip of their choice following their graduation from high school. One of my granddaughters graduated in June of this year. We decided on a cruise that would start with 2 days in Rome. Since we would not have much time on Rome, I wanted to be sure that we would see of many of the sights as possible. Since we would be flying from the US on Thursday, 7-19 on an overnight flight, I thought that we would be tired and not up to doing too much walking. I booked your Roman Highlights and Colosseum tour. The tour was expensive but I thought the driving tour would spare us from the heat and s lot of walking which it did. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable and we got to see all of the things that I wanted to show my granddaughter on our first day: we visited the Spanish Steps,Trevia Fountain, circus Maximus, the Pantheon, the Colosseum, etc. we also stopped for a gelato. I was very pleased with this tour and the guide. Although it was expensive, it was worth the money.
