Driver did not know the correct cruise ship we were on and didn't speak enough English to ask the right questions when he called us that morning. We had to ask a driver of another company to call our driver to explain in Italian where we were and he finally got to us 30 minutes late. We almost missed our tour at our destination because of him.

The experience was top notch. They confirmed the time to meet a few days ahead and even allowed to adjust the time if needed. The driver was courteous and exactly on time and was very kind and helpful and pointed out some additional attractions on the way to our destination. Mercedes E class was comfortable. Friendly driver--and prompt to our cruise port. He had clearance to come right down to the ship. Easy transport right to our hotel. Would book again.

Our driver called to advise he was stuck in traffic and would be 5 minutes late. He arrived as he stated. Our car was very clean, comfortable and driver was very polite. We arrived at the cruise port as scheduled.

We heard rumors of a lot of people having problems getting to Rome from the port, so the night before we were able to book a private transport. It might have been a bit of an overkill, but the level of relaxation it gave us to have a large transport that was scheduled to be at Port when we needed it was well worth it.
We even compared with some friends who tried to do similar via taxi and they all had problems and the cost was comparable. If you have more than two people it would be even more reasonable. We will 100% be using this transportation method next time.

Driver was on time and gladly loaded all of our luggage for us. Van was very clean and comfortable. Driver pointed out some well know historical areas. Will definitely use Viator again and have already recommended the service to friends.

We requested a 9:30 hotel pickup. Had a document indicating 9:30 pick up. Our driver was told 10:00 pick-up.
Not sure where the breakdown of communication took place. Neither Viator or the contractor is taking ownership.

Does Italy have a cell phone usage law while driving? Seems a luxury transportation service would be first to follow. Driver was tracking someone on his phone then texting someone else. Felt very unsafe for my family.

Our driver, Oregon (not sure of the spelling), was great. Picked us up in front of our airbnb and dropped us off in front of our cruise ship. Seamless process, nice driver and worth every penny.

Would highly recommend Viator for transportation to and from anywhere really in Rome. They were wonderful and easy to work with. Showed up on time, was pleasant, helpful. The van was clean and cool. The driver didn't smoke and was friendly and attentive.

Arrived alive and on time! Driver was great. Got to our points exactly on time. Ride back to the port was like an F1 race in a mini van! Driver was absolutely focused on getting us back to our cruise ship on time.

The time we had booked originally would have been later than necessary, so the company contacted me in advance to suggest a better time. We were so appreciative! We were met at the pier and had a great drive to our hotel in Rome. One word of advice, I did not have the best cell service at the port.

Our driver had to do some amazing driving skills to get out of Trastevere, but he did! Even with a slow down in the way, we made it on time. Highly recommend and will use again for the rest of my trip.

Driver met us at our hotel exactly on time, with a comfortable car that fit all our cruise luggage & got us to the ship exactly on time as quoted. As a bonus, he played music on the radio to get us in a cruise state of mind. Such a comfort to have a professional driver from a reliable company to start our vacation off right!

The trip was as advertised and I have no complaints about the transportation company. I did update the pickup time through Viator about one week before our trip. The update was not received by the transportation company until the night before our trip. It caused some discomfort and worry for our family but ultimately it worked out. If you do make any changes to your reservation, make sure you get confirmation from Viator AND the transportation company very soon after you submit the change.
