Great way to experience two gems of Tuscany

Our guide, Rosanna, and driver, Luigi, were very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time. Montepulciano and Orvieto are two classic Tuscan hilltop gems.

A Wonderful Day Trip Away From Crowded Congested Rome

What a wonderful day trip from Rome. Orvieto is about an hour and a half from congested Rome and contains a magnificent cathedral most noted for the fresco cycle of Luca Signorelli. These frescos alone are worth the trip but the town of Orvieto is wonderful with excellent shopping and food. The people were friendly and proud of their town. The wine tasting was a wonderful experience and included an excellent light lunch. The guide and driver were excellent. Highly recommended.
