The tour is a shared tour, it is not a private tour.

It is advisable not to book more than one tour, on the same day, with close times.

The youth rate is applicable to students and children: you must have photo ID showing their age.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Important notice for last minute bookings (on the same day or from one day to the next): in case of lack of places the customer will be placed on the day following the booked date.
It rarely happens, but if on the day of your visit, the Arena section is closed for public safety reasons, you will explore the first and second floors of the Colosseum, together with the Roman Forum and the Imperial Forums, the Arena in this case will be overview. You will still be able to enjoy our fantastic tour, and you will receive a refund of 10 euros per person, via PayPal or bank account.

Booked through Viator but was secondary tour company (forgot the name) however our tour guide, Italo Mangano, was excellent! Not only informative with real history (not legends) and details of the entire region. He was very thoughtful and looked out for my pregnant daughter.

None. They changed the start time from 9:30 to 12:30 which made it impossible to do the tour. Our day was planned months ago. We were suppedly notified 24 hours before the tour but we're sent to many meeting points for a non existent tour. Very dissatisfied.

We waited for 45 minutes before finally receiving word that our tour wasn’t possible bc of “it was a last minute booking” and they couldn’t find a guide. This company is horribly organized. They tried to group us into a group of 55 people instead of the private tour for 4 that we had scheduled.

Tour booked for 1.30pm. Time changed to 2.30pm. Happened at 3pm. Communication rubbish. Palatine hill and Roman forum visit also late with no information. Would definitely not recommend booking through these.

Francesco was informative on the Colloseum, Forum and Arena. Lots of stairs and walking mainly outside. Only negative was it was very difficult meeting place and ended up finding the office of Crown Tours and they walked us to meeting spot..many others also commented same concern and glad we allowed an extra hour.

Be careful. I paid an extra $100 per person to enter on the Colosseum Floor. We received the standard tour & no refund.

This is very much a “by the numbers” tour in a large group. If you just want to tick some boxes and see these things in under half a day then it might be for you, but if you have a lot of questions or want a more personalised experience then I’d look elsewhere.
