It was a lot of fun the guide was very nice and adjusted her stories for children. A good experience that I will tell others about.

Well, our guide was very astute in giving us the areas history, which was interesting, but there were no ghosts, or spirits, and no vibes from the old tree. She did show us a lot of pictures of spirits on her phone, but she was a photographer so this made me wonder if the pics were altered. Who knows? She did talk about parking lots that were once native burial grounds, and I had to question the
historical facts there. However, we did smell
the perfume of one spirit, allegedly. Could’ve been our guide spraying it on the sly, I don’t know. Our guide was fun and nice but I probably won’t do it again.

This tour was really fun throughout downtown Portland as we reviewed the dark history of this area. We learned so much about the history of Portland and the perils of life in the past that led to these fantastic ghostly haunts.

Disappointing. The guide started the tour saying that he doesn't believe in ghosts, and the storytelling was uninspired and boring. We left after the first stop and heard better ghost stories in the hotel bar.

The history was interesting. The guide was a character. This was a 1 hour tour that lasted 2 hours. The guide walked so fast that at one point half the group was stopped at a crosswalk and the other half crossed to the opposite corner and was halfway down the block. We had to shout to get their attention. This happened multiple times. We didn’t go into any buildings. The tour did not end at the starting point and he thought it was ok to leave a bunch of tourists in Chinatown at 10p at night. I could have left a better review, but the ending at the Chinese gardens was not the best decision.

A fun stroll through the city to learn about some of the more unsettling and disturbing events of Portland’s history. Our guide, Victoria, was an excellent storyteller with a great sense of humor who kept things interesting for the entire tour.

Our tour guide walked fast, and didn't bother to make sure everyone was together before crossing streets against the lights, leaving us darting to avoid oncoming traffic (including those of us with mobility challenges, and a couple with a stroller). Did not wait on the other side for everyone to assemble, just kept walking. Did not try to gather the group together before speaking, and often could not hear him. Had pictures to show, but literally only showed them to those standing directly in front of him - didn't bother to let everyone see. Stories were scattered and boring. Sent a few of the group into a parking lot with an emf meter, and then walked off without waiting for them to rejoin the group, and crossed two streets before they managed to catch up.

It was a nice historical tour, but didn't really seem like a ghost tour - didn't see anything that felt other wordly. We were told things like that have happened but none happened for anyone during our tour.

Brandon was an engaging and at times hilarious host for our ghost tour. His stories were detailed but didn't feel scripted. He even managed to work in some improvised "guests" and encouraged the ghostbuster tween to share her own wild tales. Not a scary tour by any means but full of interesting Portland history which was well worth the ticket fee and a generous tip. Highly recommended for family or friends looking for a light-hearted stroll through Portland's past.
