Our tour narrator did a fantastic job telling us about the history of the town. We brought our friends from Arizona and they enjoyed it.
Our tour operator was detail oriented and fun to listen to! Lots of interesting facts about the Old Port too! We would recommend this tour upon landing here. Thank you!
It is interesting to see the different islands and the drop off and pick up of products peoples belongings etc. beautiful houses and land. I got some very nice photos. I wish we could hear the person speaking about things we passed but you can only hear well inside.
A good way to learn the history of Portland, Maine. Dorothy was an excellent tour guide, and very familiar with it's history and places to visit. Also good places to eat and shop. Would recommend doing the trolley ride before seeing the area.
It was boring … thought it would more of the waterfront ! Seeing houses on the back street wasn’t our cup of tea

This is a great tour to see Portland! Take the tour, then go back to all the places of interest. Our tour guide, Barry was awesome! He has lived in Portland all of his life & had so much to share!
Natives were very friendly and polite. Lots of food choices. Cool weather with low humidity. Bring a sweater for evenings.
Fun, chill, and we learned a lot on this tour. A nice view of Portland. Would recommend taking this tour

We had the funniest tour guide who knew Portland well and kept us entertained. Although it was not the best weather it reviewed the whole town so you knew where to go to see things.

Perfect way to see Portland and get historical information in a short time. Love to do these on the start of the visit to know where you’d like to spend more time later.

Great trip around Portland City in a trolley bus. Lots of historical information provided by our lady driver who also had a great sense of humour. We also had a visit to the Portland Lighthouse.

There were none - as the tour was cancelled!! The worst part is no one ever sent me a message telling me that it had been cancelled. So found out when we got there!!!

Learning the history of Portland, ME. This is our 3rd year of spending time in New Gloucester and we decided we wanted to learn first hand the history. Steve, our guide, was point on! Told us stories of prior passengers, the Fire of 1866and, pointed out some of the historical mansions along the way! Steve covered all we wanted to know. After our tour, met up with family members who live here. After telling them what we saw they are going to take a tour with your trolly company and hope to be on Steve’s tour.
Thank you
Our tour guide was wonderful and very informative. She was funny and shared her thoughts. It was an open air trolley.
Everything about it was great, the guide person was very knowledgeable!
We got to know history of Portland
Thx
Trolley was just what we were looking for not too long as sometimes you just want a nice brief tour around the city and then do your own exploring. Get there early because it picks up quickly!
Our driver/tour guide was a retired school teacher; he was very informative, well-spoken and humorous - a real joy to travel with through this great city!
A word of caution about one of the competitor tour options: THE CREW OF THE OPEN-TOP FIRE TRUCK TOUR WAS EXTREMELY RUDE TO OUR DRIVER AND OUR FELLOW TRAVELERS. AVOID THIS INCONDSIDERATE BUNCH!!
What a fun way to see the city of Portland. Our guide was friendly and knew a lot about the city of Portland as he was born and raised here. The trolley was comfortable and not overcrowded. Every seat had a nice view. We traveled through all of the main part of the city and saw the bay, beautiful old homes, churches, the business district and learned so much about the history.
The trolley tour gave a nice overview to the city of Portland, including its history, it’s highlights, and what Portland is known for. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered questions with a love of this city.
I liked seeing the homes on the promenade. Very interesting history! There were many tidbits I didn't know. Dorothy was very knowledgeable!

Our tour person was nice. I think the trolley should make 2-3 stops for pictures to fill up the hour as its not really a full hour. It is also such a small space that it should not be more than 25 dollars per person.
Response from Host, Aug 2024
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

We were going to be in Portland for only a few hours in the morning and thought this would be the best way to see most of the city before continuing on our trip. They delayed our departure time which meant we would be late to our next destination. They gave us the option to cancel and get a refund. Still waiting on the refund.
Response from Host, Jul 2024
Hi Robert,
My name is Jaime. I am sorry that you have not been able to get your refund. Is there a phone number that I can call you so we can fix this for you straight away?
Felt there should've been a few pauses so that people could've taken pictures. As far as tour guide, she was very informative .
Response from Host, Jul 2024
