We had such a great time! The captain and Nash were very knowledgeable and friendly. It was great to get out on the water and learn about lobstering, the history of the area and lighthouses, and see so much wildlife. Highly recommend. Very fun!

It is simple and chill. Bring snacks and you will have a blast. It is great to see Portland lighthouse from the water - I only saw it from the ground before.

An amazing hour and a half spent on water! Beautiful views of the harbor and its lighthouses. There's not too much talking, so you can enjoy your time while getting all the necessary information.

Weather didn’t allow much of a “cruise.” Crew did their best to make it worthwhile. The viator company and the cruise company were exceptionally helpful in accommodation our family w special needs. Much appreciated.

Last minute decision after docking in Portland on our cruise. The boat was within walking distance to our ship. Weather was perfect and we so enjoyed the ride and the history of the lighthouses and sights along the way.

We chose this tour over a sailing tour due to the unknown of wind conditions for sailing. Loved hearing the history of the boat as well as history of lighthouses, Portland and surrounding islands. The captain & his assistant were engaging and informative.

Super friendly captain and Erica first mate- super cool people ! . It was a beautiful day for taking this tour . One disappointment we didn’t get up close to the light houses as they were so in the distance that we used our phones to zoom in . So we actually seen few lighthouses and more forts .

We had a nice tour of the lighthouses. Jacob and Sam were great and so much fun. Enjoyed seeing Portland from the water.

Wonderful experience. Lighthouses were beautiful. The crew was knowledgeable and so pleasant. So much to see. We went to see one of the lighthouses the crew had shown us by land. Boat was comfortable. Weather was perfect. Highly recommend. Only criticism was the parking. The location was easy to find. However parking was $32 for 3 hours.

Essentially we just got a boat ride around the area for about an hour and 15 minutes. There was no narration (and even if there was, you probably could not have heard over the noise of the boat) and although we saw some lighthouses among other things, we didn’t stop and look or really discuss them. We didn’t even reach the lighthouse we really wanted to see at all(although it was advertised). Small boat that was pretty rocky. The people were very friendly, but we really wished we would have went with a different venue.

Captain Greg and First mate Erica, were so much fun. Saw a sunken pirate ship some lighthouses. Unable to go out to the third lighthouse due to rough water but was still able to see if from a distance.

This was absolutely wonderful! I took my kids and my husband and my sister and her brother-in-law and we had such a great time. It’s basically a small boat with Christmas lights all over it and the driver is so sweet… She points out all these fun things about Maine as you drive along. There’s a spectacular story about an island. I highly recommend it.

It is a little hard to find but worth it. Captain and guide were so nice and very funny! They taught us many things that we didn't know and threw in some 'fun facts!' Very enjoyable time!

Nick was absolutely spot on with his history & interacting with all the guests on board. It was a perfect way to take in the harbor and view the iconic lighthouse of the area. Luke, the captain, kept his eyes out for wildlife and we were able to catch a glimpse of a couple along the voyage. Time well spent while in Portland!

We were on a Winjammer Cruise at 1:30PM that you rescheduled us to from our 122:30 LightHouse Cruise. It was at another dock. Confusing for us.
We were not pleased with the confusion and emails.

There were no instructions on where to go or meet The address didn’t come up on Google maps. I tried to contact them but they didn’t call us until it was too late. It was the only thing I wanted to do and planned for my 60th birthday. Literally ruined my day.

While both of the gentlemen were great and friendly and of course the views themselves were gorgeous. It was a bit too hard to hear their commentaries and it felt that you were missing out if you were sitting up front when they were explaining something to someone sitting toward the back

The tour was fine, but nothing special. We didn’t really learn a heck of a lot about the area unless we asked questions. And then the answers were pretty superficial. It was more a boat ride than a tour.

Our captain proudly introduced us to the 90 year old boat "Ruth" and she decided to let her steering go. We had to be pulled back into our slip - and had our money returned.

We had a great time aboard the Ruth! Our captain Josh, and his first mate Greta were very knowledgeable about the area, very friendly and super fun! This trip is perfect for kicking back, relaxing, and taking in the beautiful sights of Casco Bay. If you’re looking for a fully narrated tour, this is not the trip for you. If you’re looking for a natural conversation with two locals, this is the trip for you.
