Our tour leader was great, so friendly and so knowledgeable about the area.
We liked the many pictures he had of the people who owned some of the well known places. We never felt rushed and liked the way we went into different places. It was a fun interesting tour and We look forward to more tours in the Philadelphia area.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the history of the neighborhood. However, it is not a traditional food tasting tour. The tour guide allotted time at some of the shops for individual purchases. Overall we were satisfied and after the tour, we were able to explore and visit shops from the tour.

Would have liked if sites gave small free samples (a single cookie, for example).
Our guide for the tour was Kenzie. He arrived early to meet us and was well prepared. He had a binder with images for the different stops. You decide what food you want to purchase on the tour. (This worked well for the picky eater in the family.) I felt that we definitely learned about the history of both the area and the individual establishments.

The walking tour was interesting.
We had difficulty determining the meeting spot for the tour.
We really wanted to experience samples, not buy things at the spots we visited.
If I’d known more about this tour, I’d have selected a different tour where you eat.
This was a good time! I enjoyed walking through the Italian neighborhoods and learning the history of the area as well as some of the iconic businesses. I was given opportunities to purchase yummy treats like tomato pie and cannoli cookies. My tour guide did a great job giving me a lot of interesting information. I would recommend bringing cash because not all places might take cards.
Our guide was knowledgeable about the atea and patient as we purchased food items along the way. He knew all the right places to go! Although we had visited the Italian Market previously , many in our family group of 8 had not been to the Market. Great tour… highly recommend!
