This is the worst drive tour we've ever experienced? We used one for South Dakota.The Bad Lands Custer, Devils Tower and it was absolutely amazing.Was looking forward to using this one as the well, but it didn't make any sense.You had to be at a certain start spot. We're

Travelers love our audio tour as you can begin from anywhere on Oahu along the tour route, you simply join the blue tour route line nearest to your location and the next audio point will begin to play automatically. The guide was worthless. We didn’t know until right before we were ready to travel that it doesn’t work with Car Play. It was confusing and a total waste of money. This is the first time I have been disappointed in Viator.

Hi Katie, we’re sorry that our Oahu self-guided audio tour didn’t meet expectations. As noted in the tour listing and your post-purchase voucher, CarPlay isn’t supported yet. However, this isn’t needed as you can play the audio directly through the car stereo, and the commentary includes all the directions that you need (and the passenger can look at the map on the phone while you’re driving). We’d love to understand why CarPlay was essential to you, as many of our other visitors thoroughly enjoy this audio tour of Oahu. Was excellent money well spent. We were on a cruise & rented a car in each port. Great information at each island. Hard time getting connected first time but people answered for customer service & helped get us going. I thought I needed to pay on each island & realized they had one for all islands which saved us money. They refunded me for original order & recharged me for island combo which really helped. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Lot’s of good information! You have to use your own GPS to get you to a starting point. After that the narration and the directions are great! You have to watch and listen because driving directions don’t always give you a lot of warning.

Well worth the price. We enjoyed having the freedom to stop or not and take as much time as we wanted at the various recommended attractions. The information was interesting and the speaker engaging. I will definitely look for more tours like this in the future. Just make sure you stick pretty close to the speed limit - going too fast affects the narration.

The tour was very informative, but inconsistent in giving directions. As a result, we missed several turnoffs for things we wanted to see, and couldn't find our way back to them. In other cases, the details were perfect, and timed nicely.

This self guided tour is all you need to experience all the must see and do spots on Oahu! The tour is detailed, the narrator entertaining and it is equivalent to having a personal guide; but you are on your own timeline! I definitely plan to use tools like this in my other vacation travels.

This tour was excellent. Besides history it gave you info on stops and let you decide whether or not to stop. We had to cut the time on the tour short and we were able to stop where we wanted and what to skip. It followed the route perfectly. Just a side note, so there was an emergency on the route and they closed the road we had to turn around and go back the way we came (regrettably Murphy's law) and listened to the the tour twice. The info was accurate historically and presently.

The app started just fine when we were taking our drive up to the North Shore of Oahu from the Halona Blowhole. After we paused the app to enjoy this destination, we returned to our vehicle and were unable to resume the app. We tried several different ways to resume the app before giving up in frustration. We have used the gypsy app during several of our previous vacations and had no issues pausing and restarting the app. So disappointed and unhappy with this app.

Loved it! It was very nice to be on our own instead of in a van on a tour with a bunch of people we don’t know :)
The only issue we had was we purchased through the website and not through the app so when we went to get the tour on the app it wouldn’t connect and didn’t show up. We ended up just buying the tour again. Just make sure to buy after downloading the app to avoid that hassle.
