We had an incredible time on our Oahu tour and couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Nasia. She was warm, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the island. She went out of her way to ensure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. We had the best time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oahu.

Tyler was an amazing tour guide for our private experience. He’s a funny, friendly and knowledgeable guy about so many aspects of Hawaii life and culture. I’d do this 10/10 times as it was a great experience and worth every penny in terms of the great sites, comfortable ride and behind the scenes info we got about everything from movies to surf culture.

We did this tour on the last day of our trip, but we wish we could have done it earlier. Nasia, our tour guide, knows a lot about the island. In addition to showing us the places on the itinerary and explaining everything about them, she even made us a list of all the places we couldn’t cover on this trip—so now we have to come back! :)
The shrimp from the food truck was some of the best we’ve ever had. Really good stuff. Thanks to unusually low Sunday traffic, Nasia was able to take us to the local favorite, Leonard’s Bakery, for a box of malasadas. It was an incredible experience!

This was a fantastic way to spend a day on the island we looked at many tours especially public ones and the price point for this one was nearly comparable but we got so much more. Our tour guide was Lucas and he was beyond awesome. Our family considers this the highlight of our vacation we had an amazing time highly recommend. If I had one criticism I wanted to customize my tour and the booking agents just kept telling me to wait to speak to my tour guide on the day of but I'm a planner and I would have preferred having someone plan with me in advance however despite this the tour guide was amazing showed up early and found a way to get us all of our must have destinations a great way to have a very memorable trip thank you lucas!

Our experience on our tour in Oahu, Hawaii was outstanding and a core memory for our family, especially with our tour guide Heather. She was so sweet, amazing, and a positive person and made our experience fun. Heather also knew many facts and details around Hawaii. She taught us new things and skills in nature. For example, she stopped by the beautiful Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout, showed us how to crack nuts open with natural resources and showed the different plants and species. Also, Heather was so kind and took the time out of her day to let our family see turtles on the beach just to see our kids’ smiles on their faces. I would definitely recommend Heather from Daniel’s Hawaii tour company because she is an amazing tour guide. Lastly, I would like to thank Heather for the amazing time and sharing the true experience of Oahu with my family.

Tyler was an amazing guide and took us all over the island. We saw beautiful sites everywhere. Even called our lunch order ahead so we didn't have to wait for a bus load of people to order. Well worth the money for the private tour.

The most memorable part of this trip was the tour guide Josh, who went out of his way to make our experience just what we requested. He tailored our experience to our desires and talked nonstop for the entire experience.
Even with the traffic slowdowns, he was filling us with knowledge of Hawaii continuously.
The food trucks were such a hit with us!

Very nice tour with Josh, super friendly and accomodating guide. Please note that this company does not pick up at the Cruise Port. Even though they charge extra for port pickup, you will have to walk 5-10 minutes to an adress that they give you. For us it was ok, but if you have mobility issues, beware.

Shout out to Zak, who unexpectedly became a babysitter to our 2 toddlers and found me a pink pineapple! He was very knowledgeable about the stops we made and even the random questions we had. He understood that we couldn’t make all the stops because of the kids but he’d just find us the next best thing. Understanding his clients and adjusting the needs really goes a long way.

We saw many wonderful sites! It is a great way to see the sites without trying to find them on your own. Not the tour’s fault, unexpected traffic impacted the time at sites. We did not get a stop at Pearl Harbor as listed in the itinerary. Our guide was a little heavy on comments about the impact of millionaires buying homes and the injustice done to native Hawaiians.

Aloha Deborah and Mahalo for your review. We are happy you had a great time and learned about our beautiful island. Part of our tour is Hawaiian history, which unfortunately shows there was done a lot of injustice to the Hawaiians. We can’t change that.
However, since all tours are scripted, we know the Hawaiian history part of the tour usually takes only about 20-30 minutes out of the 6-7 hour tour. Of course we answer questions. If they come up We are sorry this was already too much for you.
Now imagine you were Hawaiian and you had to live with this injustice for the past and the next generations.
DanielsHawaii is proud to have local guides, even Hawaiians that work for us as guides. We are honored they tell their story and despite everything share their ALOHA.

The sights: Diamond Head, the blowhole/eternity beach, waterfalls, the wild waves of North Shore were all fantastic.
The food: Malasadas, food trucks, farmers markets were great!
Tour guide: Sierra was fabulous. Knowledgeable with great insight into island life and culture from a native’s perspective. And a great driver!
